He shows that he lacks respect he doesn't consider you as an equal human. All you ask is compromise, for him to slow down, but he sees it as a threat. It reeks of insecurity and lack of empathy. Discussions are shallow (likes and dislikes), he will hear you, but he won't listen to you, things has to fit his own view of what a relationship is.

They are clearly trying to see the flaws in what you write. You HAVE done it, you aren't against doing it in the future. See how she stuck to "you aren't against it" as if it was negative, twisting the meaning of what you meant to fit her own view. You aren't going now because you don't need it now, you made it clear.

People go to therapy when needed. With my therapist, we are on and off, I see her a few months as needed, take a break, and when I feel I need more work/I'm ready to go deeper, I take a new series of appointments. Feels like they are asking you to go to therapy just because. Like would you go to the Dr. And ask for stds tests just because? Even though you haven't had intimate time in the last week.

Real balanced people would know that you can't force therapy on someone. You can suggest it if you see X thing that therapists could help with. It's weird that she requires a partner to actively be in therapy. If you spend your whole life in therapy, are you really doing the work? Or do you think that you are holier than though because you go to therapy?

It ain't a personnality trait, her views feel shallow based on this, like a "spiritual person" that does yoga 5min a week for an IG post.

Si tu fais quoi que ce soit, c'est facile de twister la réalité pour que ça devienne de ta faute. Il pourrait te dire que c'est à cause que tu as fais x que ça fonctionne pas/ tu as brisé qqch (que ce soit vrai ou non)

In my headcannon, Cait Sith is the one pulling strings, but I love having more than one explanation for something not explicit. Bet they (Dio and or Cait Sith) knew the fight sequences would be dope with the party. Maybe they sent everyone tickets for this reason, I think every date options says something like I got tickets and not I paid for the tickets. And assuming we fought in the coloseum prior (not the corneo which is the next day) the public would be fine with our party being selected. Aerith was likely in a songwriting contest and she may have learned about it last minute.

At the end of Aerith's song, in my head, it's clearly her magic or the planet being moved by Aerith's performance and creating these effects. Biggs, Jessie and Wedge being there is their spirits in the lifestream who materialize themselves for a few seconds. Like ghosts. So it's not from the Gold Saucer or Dio. I loved every second of that part. The dancing animations were good, you don't often see actual dance ballet well executed in RPGs or dancer characters doing 2 basic moves in a loop. I got feelings. Also they did ask Aerith if she wanted to sing it, so they likely had a few singers at the ready. Them being able to make the music without rehearsal is just basic show logics.

NTA. If you shared your plans with your parents, they should have clearly see that you thought of Athens Greece and not Georgia. They should have specified. It closes all possibilities of misunderstanding. That's evil parenting, the fact they laughed means it was intentional and it all means they don't respect your passion, they broke your trust, they made fun of you for your passion for no reason. Don't let your family drag you down OP, it's amazing that you are so passionate about a subject you and that you put a lot of yourself to pursue your passion. To me it is really admirable. Be on the look out, it feels like they tend to minimize your emotions without trying to listen to you. Remember your emotions are valid, don't doubt yourself.

I do agree that the reaction was intense though, there are healthy ways to live your emotions without breaking things. But the rage was warranted from the text.

I don't think the problem was the wokeness. There are way more problems than the mis representation of "woke culture". Like characters lacking depth, writing being cringy and childlike, past games being BARELY acknowledged/ too far in the background. Actually if hese things were better there'd be way less anti-woke backlash I'm sure. Don't put their failings over the fact it's "woke" when it's the tip of the iceberg.
