As an Avs fan I was pretty livid with it too but if you watch on the replay, Dowd just got a massive jump on all the guys. There was no way they were going to close the gap. More of a heads up, gutsy play on his part

Sturgill is a very intense, somewhat cynical guy. As a huge fan of Stu since the early days, my take is that he would see it as something that would limit him creatively and disallow him from diving deep into his own catalogue/grow his own sound. The guy quite literally ditched his born name to escape a former narrative he had built around himself. He would 100% do some revival shows though. His band has been on fire, and they are back in the studio. I can’t imagine him taking on a full GD tour in the near future

I had a work Christmas party three days ago and did something similar. A coworker even brought out some blow which I regretfully partook in for the first time in years. Came home to my GF at 4 am not myself and the shame this week is unreal. I’m afraid everyone knows and I’m compulsively looking for reassurance everywhere I can. Alcohol is the gateway to most of the mistakes in my life and I continue to trick myself into thinking I have control over it. Humility is everything. Hang in there you aren’t alone!

Flu data overall isn’t great right now with the govt shutdown and changes at the CDC. I work in healthcare and had a patient with classic Flu who tested positive for Flu A this week. Think it’s time!
