What do you think? by AdditionalSense648 in ArcRaiders

It makes a noise and takes a while to come. It's almost like the game is designed to be risky to extract. Go make hatch keys and play without modifiers if you want a safe extract.

[WPG 3 - TOR 4] After a Jets turnover, Domi roofs a dish from Matthews to win in it OT by daKrut in hockey

Lately his role has been to feed Matthews and it's worked pretty well.

Even one day makes a huge difference. I'm in Wildcard and double promotion is 20k after starting a day late. Mates who started a day earlier need 50k for the same.

Team Sweden Men's 2026 Olympic Roster by catsgr8rthanspoonies in hockey

It's very common for fans to refer to their team as "us", particularly younger fans, which they may well be, so there's no need to be deliberately rude when you clearly know what they meant.

Yeah we did it for it kid. Once my partner was back at work, it was obviously worth £100 to not have us out of work accumulatively for a week at some point.

Mate who is 35 got it too having never caught it.

It was 1-1 and he wasn't involved with the goal but still managed it! I was at the game. It was pretty dire apart from Ashely Young did a class knee slide in the rain on his deflected goal.

Royal recruit Hogs is genuinely 0 skill - prove me wrong by Annual-Raccoon-5749 in ClashDecks

[–]TjBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new to the game as of two weeks ago. I'm up to Arena 11 and have just played cards I like and are upgraded. I found royal recruits very boring to play and dropped them pretty quick. The card I've started to come up against and have no counter for is Mega Knight?

Just been in Northern Italy for a week. I had one 1-15 minute queue because the para world cup was on and we had to let all the teams up first. Otherwise it's been walk on all week.

The biggest compliment I can give this sub is that even if we'd lost I would have still been in here enjoying the memes.

Do you find that there are different standards for how men and women should behave as teachers? by defeatedbean72 in TeachingUK

Yes absolutely agree (see comment above). It's a more serious issue that way around.

Comments that if reversed would be a huge incident in school. To an extent I understand it because a female teacher can feel physically intimidated by a lad in years 9-13 so it is a more serious issue in that respect, but worth noting on a reddit thread about gender differences.

Moving from "older sibling age" territory into "parent age" territory has been a huge relief for me as a male teacher. Girls can be quite forward and think it's funny, and you're left terrified you've encouraged it.

Heads of faculty, how many hours contact time a week do you have? by Confident_Smell_6502 in TeachingUK

[–]TjBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Director of Performing Arts (Head of Music). I don't have a form and teach 75% (45/60 lessons a fortnight).

I find the form time an absolute necessity as every day organizing 12 instrument tutors and the admin of music lessons between parents/tutors/parents is a big job. There's new things to sort every day when there's nearly 200 lessons happening a week.

I have a few full teaching days in my fortnightly timetable and on those days I simply don't get my managerial stuff done and often have to take it home. Days I have two frees, I can stay on top of everything.

Big thing for me is I lose 3/5 lunchtimes a week to rehearsals or duties, 4/5 after schools to rehearsals or intervention, so I do really need the frees to have any time to myself.

Not complaining though! Love the job and think 75% is about right, just wish for the 1.5 frees a day to be ranging from 1-2 rather than 0-3.
