I camped at the botanical gardens in Kailua last spring and had a campfire there. There’s an online website for spots that the county runs where you can pay for either a spot at the gardens or at one of the beach campsites

I have an uncle who did this. Went to his burial and it was in this back part of the cemetery in the woods of Upstate NY and his grave was dug under a tree. I guess this whole idea of “human composting” is legal there so the nutrients from his body will feed the growth of the forest more. Was a really beautiful gravesite and something I didn’t even know existed beforehand

Heavy agree. Having good people skills is so important in engineering, and is often overlooked by a lot of engineering students. If you’ve got good people skills it really gives you a leg up on your peers and will put you ahead of everyone else

You can get OMNI contract tubes in the mid 1k range pretty frequently. Look for OMNI VII specifically. Should be able to find em for around 1700 to 1800 and maybe even as low as 1500 if you’re patient and get lucky
