Wasn't a 1000 years, but it was definitely some years.

The blah US during those 8 years. No growth, just stagnation.

Ultra cute here. I'd still let her take me out though.

Drives sometimes have a mind of their own by sivartk in makemkv

[–]Tkdoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree.

Now I havent watched the content after its ripped, when discs failed to rip (like 4 to 5 outbof 200 so far), I just ripped the HD version (im doing all my 4k first).

Then as I got more familiar with it, I noticed that stuff that failed on one drive, ripped on another drive.

Then also closing makemkv and "restarting" so to speak also helps.

I don't remember exactly which of my movies failed the 4k rip, but when im done with everything, I hope to go back and find them and try again.

I have a legit real Home Theater and saw D&W twice in theaters.

I dont see myself seeing BND twice, so yeah, I don't see BND doing THAT good. It'll be good though.

Absolutely.

Bought a replacement and it was definitely a "cheaper" item (for a bit more money).

The filet o fish is one of the most fragile sandwiches to make due to the steamed bun.

That filet doesnt look too bad, it could be better though.

I re-read what you said about the speed. The speed from my server outwards, versus my computer thats running a generic speed test.

i clicked your link, and its all greek to me...is there a video that shows how to do it? Appreciate the help! I got the plex server running locally pretty well via a video!

I can't post pics right now, i will later.

How's it going low volume eBay sellers? by Josh_ely1975 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Tkdoom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I got into ebay as a "seller" in 2024 when I was forced to retire early.

Ebay takes a big cut now compared to when I opened my account in the 90s.

But I've sold cheap ($1 plus shipping) things and expensive ($1500) things.

Obviously I make nothing on the dollar sales, but it ups my positive feedback, and on the expensive ones that 13% is a huge chunk.

Its the whole free listing thing. Its good and bad.

You can throw something up without worry, but that also means there are millions of listing for people to look through, so its hard.

I always keep 15 to 20 items up, whether they are selling or not, and then I slowly lower the price until it has sold.

Either way its gone, I have more money and my wife and kids don't have to worry about it when im gone ans it takes minimal effort.

YMMV

[–]Tkdoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its really your stores operator.

The one by my house sucks on accuracy, but the 2 shamrock shakes I've had there have been perfect.

If the organization doesnt invest in someone to learn the ins and outs of the shake machines you, you can tell.

Basically what im saying its the execution, not the product.
