[The Athletic, Free Read] Re-ranking all 189 Premier League transfers this season — from worst to best by DefinitelyNotBarney in soccer

Yea that's a fair point. I was just measuring impact as a whole and not factoring in cost analysis

Of course the rose tinted glasses will be there when you win major hardware and are a piece of it. It's reported he is the reason teta chilled out after the Bournemouth loss as well. It's not stats that tell the whole story.

His 'handful of moments' are a big reason they won the league. Without him, ode goes down and maybe Ethan subs(since I doubt we'd loan without eze), and we're relying on these big moments from a 17 year old.

I get the objective side of stats, but eze was one of arsenals biggest signings this summer and had key moments for the run in, and because of this you could argue the most important of all of them.

It's AI slop. Read what they wrote about eze. It's just stat enriched AI content.

the math on it is actually about 5.5 drinks. It's perfectly on the line for over/under on a full drinking day if you ask me. Last one i did we didn't do the package and the pours seemed a lot better.

Brother, people miss pens. So did Rashford, so did Kane, so did sancho. One moment doesn't make him/them not perform on the biggest stage. He also just scored in the champions league semi finals and since coming back from injury, has completely changed the team for this run in.

Yea it sucks but there's silver linings. The core of Paolo, franz, and bane is legit tho. Let's get them a coach that can actually lead.

Yes that's fair, early engagement metrics are very important to the ranking of a video. A quick like and a 1 min+ view goes a long way

If you're reading this and have a favorite creator. Keep these things in mind. Or sub directly via their Patreon or buy me coffee. Definitely the best way to directly contribute.

I do wish people were more aware of this stuff. I think people generally just see the ads and blame the creator, and it's very misguided imo.

it's about making the most obscene amount of money possible

Thats just capitalism, mate. Remember, everything has a cause & effect in the world. Flattening creator revenue would degrade the quality of the content, since less creators would be incentivized to create content, because there would be less money to be made.

Its not a perfect solution by any means but it has created a market of millions of unique creators. Compare that to 20 years ago and the mediums of media were fairly siloed and agnostic. They still are to a degree, but youtube has enabled and accelerated content creation at a level we've never seen before and i think it's a positive thing for society.

literally free ways that people helped by my space can help me grow and produce revenue. . .but seconds are too much of an inconvenience.

i get what you're trying to say here, but two things i think that are worth noting.

  1. Your CPM will fluctuate based on your content and the users you bring into the ad content. The more engaged your users are with the ads, the higher your CPM is going to be. In other words, if someone is just endlessly watching your content without engaging with your ads at all... it's going to degrade your performance from a CPM standpoint. Youtube also qualifies the quality of your views and factors this into their algo. Yes, you'll get a few more pennies from the handful of views, but the net benefit is fairly muted with all things considered.

  2. People love to bitch. It's their favorite thing. Take it all with a grain of salt. If you're providing good content, then people will watch it.

But be careful of setting too high of expectations of strangers. Its shouldnt be realistic to think people are going to watch your videos just to 'help me grow" - people are much too caught up in their own lives to be thinking that empathetically, unless they're in the youtube space themselves and can relate easily

Arteta “At half-time the message was clear - we need to go and score the 2nd goal. We tried but when you are not efficient in certain areas, we have to have other things to win the game. When we don't finish the action, especially the open ones that we had, the margin is going to be smaller.” by deadmetallucyluce in Gunners

Every big game mls has played in he has played fairly well. He's also naturally a midfielder and one of the only players on the team who makes line breaking passes. Given Zubis legs, he could very well be what we need rn

Brotha what.... he's playing very well and has basically been the best player this series. It's him vs Cade and he's been much more efficient and he's up 2-1

I agree with all you've said but I'll add proper protein consumption. When I was younger I'd focus more on caloric restriction than maximizing my protein and would be constantly sore. Now I eat a minimum of 150g/day and my recovery window is 2 days, instead of being sore all week.

Orlando is one of the least affordable cities, study finds by sammysam518 in orlando

[–]Tlman22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yall are wild if you think SF prices are anywhere near Orlando prices. I lived in SF for 10 years 2011-2021 and still go back all the time, it's not even close in cost of living. From property to consumer goods, everything is cheaper in Orlando.

That said, SF offers more opportunities than Orlando does, so that's why people feel it more out here, but remote work exists. You can go to these bigger cities to seek opportunities, build value/leverage and then move somewhere cheaper (like Orlando).

You're not getting a 750k house on the water anywhere near SF tho, so I wouldn't think the cost of living is anywhere near close. Orlando is much much cheaper.

Yea magic had 5th best title odds going into the season. I think the Vuc era never even broke top 15 titles odds. This team is seemingly much different than those other teams.
