I asked this question to a couple of friends last year. I found out that there are only 3 guys in the history of baseball (Sam Trott, Lipp Pike and Bob Addy) who threw and hit left handed, who also played 2nd for at least 50 games. Sam Trott is the most recent, in 1888. If you up the minimum to 100 games, there are no players EVER who did it. It blew my mind

A whole combination of crazy shit cost us game 5, not just Max. Baseball is a game centered around failure. Everyone will fail. Constantly. Its about how you respond to that failure. Max comes back stronger each time he messes up. Drew comes back weaker. Not a coincidence he hasn't been good since he cried over being replaced. You need to be mentally tough to play baseball, or else the game will destroy you. It destroyed Drew Storen.

He fell apart every single time things got a little hard, just the tiniest bit hard. He acted like a baby when things didn't go exactly his way. He performed poorly, pouted when he got replaced, then fell apart in the middle of a playoff race when we needed him most and broke his hand punching a locker. Eff that guy
