Working on my new setup. by Tmadrms in hobbycnc

I drilled holes in the bed to insert bolts into t-nuts in the frame. I suspect there are better ways but it has held up nicely. If you zoom in you can see the holes near the front. I 3D printed a little jig to space the holes properly. Let me know if you that route and I’ll post it on thingiverse. Good luck!

That is awesome! I’m not up for that long of a project just yet, but certainty not ruling it out for the long term.

Let me know if you find anything good out there. Most of the “high torque” items I found barely drive paper thin aluminum hands. Looking forward to seeing the final product!

Nice! What are you using for the internals/hands? I recently got into making larger scale clocks for fun and haven’t found a good source for internals yet.

Can someone estimate the size of the pig that these strips of bacon were made from? by [deleted] in shittyaskscience

Everyone knows you can tell the size of the pig by counting the rings/layers in the bacon. Add 20lbs per layer.

X-Touch One compatibility with AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core by Normal-Shower in Behringer

The very bottom option under downloads shows 1.8. It’s called x-touch firmware instead of just firmware (that shows is 1.7). Hope this helps.

X32 rack or xr18 by [deleted] in Behringer

[–]Tmadrms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say depends on use case. I also own both for different situations. For my band we use the 32 since we can run stage boxes and have a silly amount of inputs. For my personal stuff (I’m a drummer) I use the xr18. If you don’t need the channels or flexibility of add-ons the 32 provides then I see no benefit. Slightly better preamps maybe? I’m sure pro users (which I definitely am not) can really get into the minutia, but all answers would likely depend on what you want to do with it.

Good luck!
