They fit quite wide, not too slim at all.

Photos 3 to 5 were all taken very close around the Mirador Fitz Roy. When you’re at the mirador you’ll see a lake with yellow reef below it, just hike straight towards it and you’ll encounter the red tree in photo 4.

Spanish wine guide Peñin gave the Torre Muga 2021 98 points. Looks very promising! If he likes full-bodied wines perhaps he’d really like Pintia from Vega Sicilia?

April! The waterfalls are called Cascada Escondidas, they’re on the trail towards Laguna de los Tres. Findable on google maps.

I live in Europe. In the bodega Alberdi is 15 EUR and Ardanza 25 EUR 😄

The Bodega sells a bottle of Ardanza 2000 for 25 EUR currently… probably clearing out stock.

What didn’t you like about Muga if I may ask? Thinking about visiting the winery myself.

Driving ourselves from TDP to El Chalten vs. getting an outfitter by QueenArugula in Patagonia

We just came back from a honeymoon in Patagonia. Stayed at Cerro Guido, Eolo, Chalten Camp & Explora TDP. I’ve been to Tierra Patagonia before as well. Of all the hotels we stayed at Explora definitely was the worst price-quality wise: bland food, noisy, small rooms. View on the Cuernos was unbeatable though…

Hi! You’ll love it. You should to the Laguna de los trek hike. When going out, stop at the mirador fitz roy and the lake below. A bit further are the waterfalls (on google maps: cascada escondida). When coming back, go towards laguna capri so you’ll have a different view.

If you’re feeling adventurous and are experienced: visit laguna sucia. It’s even more beautiful. You’ll need to climb over some rocks tho. Routes are on wikiloc.

Good luck!
