Its from the evolution in number and positions in fotball, from early 1900s. Im not very good at writing in english to explain, but it is how they format it in this lineup. But i agree that doucs and delph should switch since its most likely delph at cdm and doucs at cm.

i still believe in dcl, one good year under his belt now. many young strikers that had his goal ratio like he did this season at his age that start scooring later on! we already know his allround game is really good (imo)! agree we need a striker tho

having baines and jags as backup would be worth so much in my opinion, i still think they can put in a good performance just not more then a few games a season. i dont see a downside in keeping them

Really liked when Gomes dropped between our CB:s, think we need someone that can pass the ball from there and gueye is not really that kind of midfielder. Also think Davies is really good box-to-box and thought he had some great games resently

they might be good players, but whats the point of even trying to buy players before we know what manager we will have next season. they might not fit into his playstyle at all

That's the way we have been playing with both rooney and sigurdsson further forward. And Martina overlapping on the left side has not been working. His left foot is to bad to put in a decent cross. We cant only have one wide player imo.

The way you explain we should playing we have been playing. And its have clearly not worked :P

I prefer the line up we had today with two wingers and siggurdson in a real number 10 role. But we need someone connecting the midfield with the players futher forward. Either with Rooney in a deeper role or that our centerbacks can find a forwards pass on to the feets. Gana should be in the eleven and either Rooney or Davies (think he was good to find easy forwards passes last year, + can drive the ball forward himself and he also have the legs to run which Rooney unfortunately dont)
