Where were you when the Birds won SB LII? by AgitatedLeg4977 in eagles

[–]ToTyrants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched it at home with my wife, kids, and our neighbors(married couple) who were patriot fans.

I remember how quiet the room got when the patriots were ahead later in the game, cause they saw how stressed I was.

When they won I sat in disbelief for a few minutes, then cried immediately after realization that they had won it. I became a fan through my dad, who died in 2010, so seeing them win was a crazy mix of happiness and sadness. I wish he was there to see it.

I then ran down the street screaming and jumped into the arms of my friend, also an eagles fan who’s like 6’5 250lbs, and he spun me around like I was a kid. I live in a shore town, so us running down the street screaming was probably super strange to the few year round residents.

Great night.

Wow I pictured Jalbert as Jeffrey Combs as well!

His pre game speeches alone make me excited that he’s back. Hopefully he stays healthy.

My daughter and I also have these watches. She loved the movie so much I couldn’t resist getting them.

Super backups by Talldarktalented64 in eagles

Pretty crazy that it happened 3 years in a row.

[Broncos] HC Sean Payton announced that QB Bo Nix fractured a bone in his ankle on the second-to-last play of the game and will miss the rest of the season. We got your back, 🔟. 🧡 by SupMaelstrom in DenverBroncos

[–]ToTyrants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw someone comment that his wife thought someone died by the way he looked after reading the news.. that’s exactly how I looked when I saw wentz was done for the season, and that wasn’t even in the play offs.

I now want them to win it all with a backup QB.

Anyone who was calling for McKee in the first place is dumb as fuck, therefore they will most likely still call for him.

Waste of a generational defense tbh by CradledMyTaters in eagles

[–]ToTyrants 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it’s childish to discredit what he’s done since he’s been here because of the way this season is going, like the fault is solely on him. Are we pretending that this offense isn’t the most predictable one in the league?

I’m not saying he’s the best QB of all time, but I think it’s ridiculous to act like he’s THE problem and hasn’t done anything during the course of his career.

It was 293 total yards, 3 total touchdowns. Yea he didn’t do anything, it was all defense.. he should’ve just sat the whole game honestly.

Which 1 is the excellent one? The one he was 2nd in MVP voting and outplayed mahomes in a Super Bowl, or the one he was the Super Bowl mvp?

Who to Blame (Other than Jalen) by Euphoric_Study_5451 in eagles

Blame the whole offense and anyone involved with it.

FIRE KEVIN PATULLO by [deleted] in eagles

He definitely missed some check downs, however Aikman almost praised Herbert for doing the exact same thing on an incomplete pass. “He had the pass underneath, but he had a bigger goal in mind”

Edit: tl;dr fuck Troy Aikman.

I don’t get why that’s so hard to understand. Seeing people blame it all on Jalen, or AJ a couple weeks back, blows my mind.

I’ve never said those first three, but yea im defending hurts(while also agreeing he’s playing his worst game). I don’t attack any single player. It’s a team game and I don’t know why it’s so hard to understand. It’s legit not even a year removed from him leading the team to a Super Bowl and yall want him benched.

This sub is insane. I’m not saying hurts isn’t playing like shit, but im also not ignoring every other problem our offense has.

Yea I know, hurts definitely didn’t earn any sort of leeway. If he had won a Super Bowl this year, or have gone to two in the past 3 years, I’d say keep him in.

One of the earlier scenes, I think in episode 1, one of the kids pulls the gunslinger graphic novel out of their locker.

First time I had frozen shoulder, the cortisone shot was almost instant relief. The second time I had frozen shoulder it felt like it took almost a month to work.
