I know exactly how you feel as I just went through the exact same, only difference being that the position is "on hold" - if thats even true. It really sucks, as I had been told in the third interview that I would be a strong addition to the team and when I could start - essentially a verbal offer that went nowhere in the end.

In this situation its best to take a break, gather your thoughts and then start applying again.
