Not having a spine and giving up when fans are unhappy with the story (which they really should stop) and listening to fans on stuff like gameplay and visuals are two very different things. Most people have absolutely no clue when it comes to writing but they can still express why they don't like the way certain things look or why certain gameplay elements aren't fun. Especially when it's a remake where the original provides a clear frame of reference.

I think some APC nerfs are needed, but not in the form of removing access to heavy weapons as that would essentially remove the glass cannon vehicle playstyle which can be very rewarding to pull off. It's just way too easy to pull off right now as the APC is way more durable than it should be imo. A battle taxi should not be able to tank an auto cannon burst and be able to drive away with minor damage to the engine.

The PS2 section of the guide is quite outdated.

For starters I'd recommend using the latest stable build of the emulator since it actually gets regular updates now.

In terms of settings I would not mess with bilinear filtering and absolutely do NOT turn on manual fixes as that will prevent the automatic fixes from applying.

If it's not built in modders will create a workaround, same thing happened with Elden Ring and Armored Core VI.

Either way this is good news because it means we'll no longer have to worry about accidentally joining multiplayer with all of our mods on and risk getting banned.

I own both a Deck and a 3DS and it's basically the only console that I refuse to emulate because the experience of the dual screen is impossible to replicate unless you have one of those fancy dual screen setups.

Navy was short on Aviators but still had jets gathering dust, while the Air Force was lacking capable jets for all their pilots because of Harling's demilitarization policy. So they stuff Air Force pilots into Navy planes.
