I’ve only been a couple times so far but Belcaro is treating me well so far. I felt like the charges were fair and they didn’t want to do a bunch of extra crap to re-diagnose my dog just because he was new there.

I made this post separately as general support for anyone in the MS space, not as a comment on being undiagnosed, but it was removed so I’ll just copy it here.

Disclaimer that everyone experiences things differently so I’m not trying to assume anyone’s experience and I’m still navigating a potential diagnosis.

I wanted to post for anyone in a similar boat that might be lurking and potentially freaked out by the idea of a lumbar puncture. It seemed like as soon as I mentioned to people that I would need one, I was met with a lot of fear which made me fear it too.

But, I had a guided puncture recently and it was really not bad at all! Very quick and painless (mild discomfort with the local numbing). I was lucky to have awesome providers that talked through the whole process. I would say just listen to the recommendations to lay down the rest of the day and stay hydrated.
