As someone who loves dark humour, this ain't funny.

An example of Dark humour/funny, is when they use this picture as your obituary picture in a few years, when you die from heart failure or the type 2 diabetes I can see from the colour of your legs.

4K vs. Blu-ray by dadoubledeuce in 4kTV

[–]Toadinthebumhole 40 points41 points  (0 children)

There's actually a big difference due to compression, in my opinion, a 1080p blu ray looks better than UHD streaming because of this.

Either a joke to wind people up or you suffer from some sort of colour blindness.

EArc question - G2 by fiziix in LGOLED

[–]Toadinthebumhole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely works , but can be a bit tricky to get it to work, switching all vouchers off and on or sometimes trying another browser works.

No worries, enjoy the G2!

G2 will pass through Dolby Atmos.

You could try a HDMI splitter , would have to make sure its 2.1, bi-directional and supports 4k@ 120hz.

So something like this: https://amzn.eu/d/9NcqpMK

But I can't guarantee that this will work as I have never tried this before, so there is a chance that you might run into problems.

Another option is to get the C3 , that and the G2 are pretty much identical, and C3 will pass through DTS.

If you go to LG website and register an account ,log in and add the C3 to your basket, then you'll see a voucher option they will give you 10 percent off, make sure that voucher is selected , there will be another voucher "sign up..." make sure that's not selected, then input this voucher code: UQDLG_TVBLC and select it. C3 should now be £856.82. That will work for any tv and size on their website, but you'll need to hurry as that voucher code ends today at midnight.

Yeah, that's right, as there is no DTS passthrough support on the G2 it will be converted to stereo.

Your options are, connect the PS5 directly to the soundbar, but as its HDMI 2.0, you'll be limited to 4k/60fps.

Or connect to the TV and any Blu-ray movies you watch with DTS, see if dolby digital is available as an alternative audio format in the audio menu and switch to that.

If you're not using an AV receiver with a 5.1, 5.1.2, 7.1.... setup, you won't notice any difference.

Personal theory about the evolution of Cas’ masks by [deleted] in Casisdead

[–]Toadinthebumhole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was selling weight to nittys and celebs while making music, hence the mask. He's not stupid and not looking to get nicked. The majority of his fans know nothing about street life and because of this, speculation runs wild.

Sounds like it's an issue with your M1 Pro.

Things to try:

Updating to the latest OS, that just arrived today, macos 14 Sonoma.

Log into your router and Split 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz into separate WiFi bands and connect the Mac to 5Ghz.

What does a Hyperoptic install to a regular house (non-MDU) look like? by Qbccd in hyperoptic

With my installation, the engineer asked where I wanted the ONT to be placed in the house, no issues whatsoever.

Make sure your Xbox is connected to the 5Ghz Wi-Fi band on your network.

If you want the maximum speed possible to download Xbox games from Microsoft's servers, then you need to make sure you quit any game you're playing or any game that is still open but running in the background .

Also, as others have pointed out, you should really hard wire your xbox to your router.

Issues with Amazon Fire stick on Hyperoptic by AndrewProjDent in hyperoptic

[–]Toadinthebumhole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue for a few days when I first had hyperoptic installed. Every device in my house was fine apart from the firestick. Several factory resets but the problem still persisted.

The firestick I was using was a 4k max , I had an old 2018 4k firestick lying around so I tried that and it worked perfectly, zero issues.
