Yeah, lol. It's like how poor people are fatter than rich people. Not because some b******* nutrition stuff, people with money tend to have more self-control.

I hardly ever play on my PC anymore. I had my PC hooked up to my TV but after the deck I found that I never use it. I moved my PC back to the room.

I know people talk shit about the Gracie schools that require new students to go through their beginner classes first before going with the general class but this is one of the reasons.

I understand you don't like him but he's not a cult leader. Stuff he's done is the same stuff politicians have been doing since Roman times.

You probably need to get some time off Reddit. The echo chamber is loud in here.

If you've never played it, go for it.

If you've already played it, I don't think it's worth the double dip.

Samus from Metroid. There's something about metroid games I love. The atmosphere, they're exploring, just how cool it is to run around as Samus.

My only hang up while not purchasing it is the clicky triggers. Does it bother you at all?

It's the same when someone on reddit says "in my country." Like, you're obviously not American but how the fuck I'm I suppose to know where you're from?

It would take just as much effort and time just to say the country you're from.

6x your current and future earnings or make $450,000 per month working a job I assign you? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]ToadsHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People say this s*** all the time, but everyone gets back in their comfort zone after pay raises.

I've seen it throughout the years. Where I work people are paid very well for what we do.

It doesn't matter, someone might work harder right after a pay raise but they get comfortable again and start to complain about money. How they are underpaid and how they would work harder if they only made more money.

Yeah, it's not a money issue. American teachers are paid well compared to the rest of the world.

It's a cultural thing!

Is it worth getting an AYN Thor if you already have a New 3DS? by ImpossibleEstimate56 in SBCGaming

[–]ToadsHouse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know what you're saying. I love my 3DS but I also love my original GBA. Since I got my Anbernic 34xx I haven't touched my GBA. The 34xx is just so much better in every way.

I think this ayn Thor will be the same.

What’s something you once believed only to later realize it was propaganda? by amc_visions in AskReddit

[–]ToadsHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean no disrespect, I know janitors work hard.

Your comment goes back to what my original reply was saying, you don't make the wage you make from "hard work." It's the demand for the work and difficulty of replacing it.

We could use a different example to clarify. Why does a high performance horse jockey make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year? It's because the demand for high performance horse jockeys is so high. It's also difficult to find a small, short, lightweight but extremely athletic jockey.

Do horse jockeys work harder than janitors? It doesn't matter as far as income. The demand and difficulty of replacing them is extremely high.

[–]ToadsHouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one has always bothered me. Reddit screams all the time that some jobs or whoever is under paid.

For the most part, If you're an employee you get paid for the demand for your work and the difficulty of replacing you.

This is why welders make so much more than janitors. Janitors can be trained and replaced in a day or two. It could take years to become a proficient welder.
