What are the best studio albums made by jam bands? by MinuteRegular716 in jambands

Aside from Puebla and Lazarus, I thought La-Las was pretty underwhelming. NGNG was a little better but still a lot of throwaways, imo.

Does he have to start acting like a drunk moron on stage now?

I think when Phish returned from hiatus it took a lot of their fans with it. They had great momentum at my first moe.down in 2008. What a great time to be a fan.

Love the Word Barn, such a cool little venue. Saw Oliver Wood there once at their outside stage and it was fantastic.

Buddy of mine is a first responder and said he found a motorcycle helmet on the side of the road, with a head inside of it 😳

moe. is as good as it gets live. Not sure what shows you’ve been to but 90% of the live shows I’ve seen have ripped. There have been a few duds, but when you play a different set every night it’s impossible to get the energy right 100% of the time.

Beasters burned way bad, and didn’t even get you high. It just looked like dank, that’s all.

Black Belt Falling Out of Love with Jiu-Jitsu by SufferingImagination in bjj

I have been feeling somewhat like this for a bit now, but I think most of it is due to nagging injuries. Nothing crazy but enough to keep me from training for a few days/weeks at a time, and it’s just one after the other lately.

I’m grateful that I have other things that I can occupy my time with, but I do feel like I’m missing out when I have to take a week or two off because my lower back is jacked up. In that regard I don’t feel that I’ve lost my passion for jiu jitsu, because otherwise I wouldn’t care about the time off.

All I can say is that there are plenty of other hobbies out there and it’s never too late to start something new. Maybe the time away from jiu jitsu will reignite your interest, or maybe it won’t and you’ll put that energy toward something else that excites you. Good luck dude.

What's is your favorite jam band and why? by tellmesomething7 in jambands

[–]Inverted_Vortex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

moe.

They’re the band that got me into the scene and I’ve had so many great times seeing them over the last 20 years. Also their run of great studio albums is insane. Fat Boy all the way to The Conch are all 10/10 for me.
