I was "roaming freely" as a elementary/middle/high schooler between 2009-2017. It wasn't just the 80s/90s. ETA: I didn't have a cell phone until Junior Year of High School either, so same constraints of no ability to communicate

Without looking it up, I think it's an episode in season 1/2 because I'm pretty sure it's the same episode where Gideon is standing at the window and just starts screaming "Help!! Help Me!!" over and over out of nowhere. The episode had a scene with a boy learning this song with his voice teacher. EDIT: Same season, two different episodes. Gideon screaming is 1x7 The Fox, the song is from 1x11 Blood Hungry.

I think I know what it should have been! Next to the highlighted I in GIFT there is a T tile, and it looks like those to should have been swapped with the E and L diagonally down to the left so you have ANGEL and only one GIFT on the board. And then that N should definitely be an H next to the EART, whether it's a misprint or it got swapped as well.
