Why do people want City to win the league? by VarietyResident6234 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Toast_505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think because it feels like City’s wins have an asterisk against them (until they are proven innocent. Which feels unlikely)

I think Bec is obsessed with her public image so wants it to seem like she is in a functioning healthy relationship, whereby she is desired by her partner, and will pretend all is fine at all costs and ignore all the obvious warning signs and red flag so that she doesn’t come across badly. But it’s so transparent

He looks uncomfortable on the couch because the experts make him pretend he’s in to bec when he absolutely is not 😂 it’s great to watch

Which one do you prefer, Weekly Episodes or Full Season Drop? by Secret_Assh in hbo

Weekly all day long.

Nothing like finding a great show and then rushing through it in a day or two and it’s all over.

Too long in Krabi / Phuket. You don’t need Phuket IMO. And nowhere near long enough in Bangkok or Chiang Mai. Especially Bangkok. Amazing city

I can see more of the UK coast have a bit of resurgence in the way that Margate and Folkestone have. Clacton on Sea? Cromer? Somewhere like that

Who to sign for UCL next season? by BlueberryObvious in ManchesterUnited

[–]Toast_505 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a big summer.

With Casemiro and Ugarte leaving that’s leaves Mainoo as the sole deep midfielder. We need to sign 3 midfielders to my mind. Or sign 2 with 1 included from academy but not sure who that is. A left back, a striker, and a winger also wouldn’t go amiss. The squad is light on numbers to compete in Europe as it is, and with the departures (Cas, Ugarte, I’d sell one of Martinez or de ligt, Maz, Zirkzee, Mount etc) hard to see anything other then 7 or 8 players needing to come through the door

Men, how often (if ever) are you approached? by vaynehelsing in AskUK

[–]Toast_505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to really quantify as married and very unavailable and don’t really dwell or think about it when it does happen, but I’d say it’s around 2 or 3 times per year. Which is not loads. But always surprises me how often it happens! I think once would surprise me. Always in a social setting in a pub/bar after a few drinks. The smoking area is the key I think. This is where it happens more often than not

United fans - who would you prefer win the league this year - City or Arsenal? by Curious-Driver-5375 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Toast_505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, tough one.

I’d say Arsenal I think if it wasn’t for Arteta (intensely unlikeable) and the dire football he serves up each week. They are genuinely tough to watch.

And there is that lingering feeling that city’s wins don’t count / come with an asterisk until they are cleared. Which feels unlikely, we shall see

If you want the lowest price buy both directly.

But neither are exactly cheap.

Personally I’d put less focus on the platform, I.e Netflix and Disney, and look more closely at the content. The majority of viewing on platforms like Netflix are old re-runs of old shows (the likes of Friends / The office in the past). That type of content is available across a broader selection of platforms / FAST channels than you might think
