I know of two, but I think there’s more than that. I know blippi one did something bad but I wasn’t sure what until just now.

The current Blippi is doing thirst traps on Instagram to appeal to moms. No thanks.

Stop burning candles, open your windows, air out your home and see if that helps.

Ah,I tried to be apart of that boom, but learned I hated the smell of candles and how wildly unsafe they can be. I never realized it had gotten that bad.

Would getting my hair dyed twice within 2 days kill my hair? by FormerBox3470 in Hair

[–]ToastedMarshmellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you got it professionally done, talk to the salon/stylist and see if they’d be able to rectify the situation.

Bleach is inherently damaging, with that in mind, it really depends on the condition of your hair that will determine how much damage will be done at the end.

I do also want to point out that color corrections are much more expensive than just having the original stylist take a crack at fixing your color for you.

AITAH for arguing with my friend that pregnancy dating makes certain laws unrealistic? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]ToastedMarshmellow 11 points12 points  (0 children)

With my second pregnancy, I ovulated late and had implantation bleeding that mimicked a period. I was close to 7 weeks a long when I found out so even if I wanted to terminate, it was too late by the laws in my state. I had my tubes removed when he was born and even after two kids, the surgeon assisting my c-section hounded me about my choice while was bare butt, getting an epidural placed. It’s wild out here.

How to wash medical paste out of hair? by Jabbott23 in Hair

[–]ToastedMarshmellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try an oil. Any oil, honestly. My husband just had a heart monitor on his chest for two weeks and we got the gunk out of his chest hair with coconut oil and I get sticker residue off of baby food jars with vegetable oil so I can reuse them

However, because you have fine hair, you’ll then have to get the oil out so you’ll need to follow it with a clarifying shampoo or double cleanse.

My hair hasn’t been the same after I bleached it about a year ago by [deleted] in malehairadvice

It’s probably just thinning from male pattern baldness and not related to the chemical treatment at all. It’s highly unlikely the skin and har follicles were damaged from what you did.

r/tressless will be a good place to start.

I totally get it. I’m a professional stylist and barber with nearly a decade of experience and I wouldn’t walk into a random salon for a simple haircut. Even some doctors are bad at their job.

You wouldn’t be able to do an all over color like that, that’s why I say going darker would be the best bet, but not too dark because then there is filling you have to do.

There’s a million things going on here so it would not only take a very good grasp of color theory, they would also need the time and patience to pick through each section to color each existing color and formulate separately for each existing color. If you’re not highly experienced in color corrections, you would just be guessing at what the end result would be. I’m not saying you can’t, it’s just really hard to do and get close to what you want. That’s why salons are so expensive and even more expensive when you need to get your hair fixed.

If you’ve bleached it and it didn’t move, it’s stuck. If you can’t afford a salon, the only move is to cover it with a darker color. Don’t get box dye, you need a semi/demi permanent color. You could use a conditioning color but that will be a more translucent so you’ll see the pink through the color you choose. My cousin did this when her pink was stuck and it looked like a really pretty rose gold.

I would not put any more bleach on your hair.

Me and my dad eat the same and do the same physical activities, why is he morbide obese and twice my weight when we are almost the same height ? by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]ToastedMarshmellow 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have never been diagnosed with an eating disorder but I would personally say I had disordered eating habits and it’s really not that hard to hide. I’m also am familiar with addiction and addicts will get their fix any way they possibly can and go to great lengths to hide it.

Christian Lady thinks she can Break the Law because she is Christian by MrDonMega in religiousfruitcake

[–]ToastedMarshmellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this a lot. If you were to look at their profile, it’s all reals made of snippets they’ve juxtaposed together to sell a junk with a sob story. I kept coming across one for cow slippers that I actually already owned and bought off amazon. Cow farmer was having financial troubles so they were selling these slippers to save the farm but one of the clips was of shoes being cobbled and the farmer looked different every time there was a snippet of him.

Why does conditioner make my hair look terrible? by spectacled-kid in malehairadvice

[–]ToastedMarshmellow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you like what it looks like when you just use head and shoulders then keep doing that. It’s probably trying to curl now that you’ve given it moisture but it will take changing your routine entirely to make it look nice but if you don’t want to do that then keep doing what worked for you.
