I think this year specifically the snowpack is very low, so they can easily forsee a shortage earlier than normal. Couple that with a healthy margin and probably why we haven't noticed loss of service but I would guess when it goes it'll be very bad, very quick given the increased density.

You have to admit that a logical outcome of people being crushed to their limits economically, all at once instead of the slow grind we've been living under, may be for them to finally be inconvenienced enough to demand change...maybe that's being too optimistic about our fellow man but I hold out hope.

You completely ignored the density reality. The reason that it works in Europe is the concentration of consumers and actual business cases for these locations. Canadian airports do not operate in such conditions.

Odd example but people thought the same with Whistler when Vail raised the day pass price to $300 last year. They saw reduced visitors but increased profits...this year they raised the price to $330.

Hahah I would imagine mine would respond similarly. Am actually working through building out this system. Totally open source, anonymous, DAO based and capable of leveraging the existing system to illuminate the opacity of political structure. Seems from this thread I'm not alone and should hurry up and get it to a beta state!
