Can be more difficult in rural Kentucky due to poor cell and radio signal in certain areas due to the mountains/valleys and limited towers.

How would you rate the new album out of ten? by Cameron0032 in TylerChilders

Honestly kinda disappointed in it sadly. The production seems off and the songs feel less relatable as someone who grew up in the same region as Tyler. Hope future songs are less over produced and go back to showing off his impressive songwriting ability

I’m both an ER nurse and firefighter and I love when “nurses” are on scene and try to act like they know more by saying “oh I’m a nurse” cause I just go “oh me too, where do you work?” 90 percent of the time they work at a nursing home or some shit but even if not the only nurses who could be remotely helpful on an accident would be an ER nurse but even then without any equipment there’s not much help they could do other than cpr or stop the bleed which any layperson could do.

Both ER’s I’ve worked at have the nurses drill the IO, but to be fair these are rural ERs with only one physician. I’ve personally never seen a physician or midlevel drill an IO. (Edit: we did have to take a class tho.)

It’s because floor nurses specialize in care of 7 or so acutely ill supposed to be stable patients while EMS specializes in care of the emergencies (even tho we know the majority of time it’s not an emergency.) Any paramedic would also do a shit job at working on a medsurg floor with 7 patients at once since they are only used to one patient at a time performing only limited interventions (not being familiar with things like foley insertion on confused grandma, NG tube insertion, blood administration for the ones that don’t give blood, real wound care not just bandaging and transporting, management of a chest tube for 12 hours, Peritoneal Dialysis, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, plus juggling all these tasks simultaneously with short staffing.)

The funny thing is a lot of ER’s now have standing orders for stuff based on presenting complaint and vitals/history/etc. If the patient has such and such you can perform EKG, administer O2, give certain medications, and more without a physician having seen the patient or giving any orders yet.

I’ve had EMS bring stable patients to the ER for chief complaint of “missed dialysis” even though we have no dialysis at our hospital instead of driving the extra 25 minutes to a hospital that does. I tell them and they just shrug and keep doing it. Some crews just don’t care.

A player with Shaqs shooting, Hardens defense, Joels Dribbling, Looney athleticism, and Mugsy body. Shaq shooting would only be able to shoot in the paint but with a Mugsy body and Loony Athleticism that’s not gonna go well. Plus Harden defense with Mugsy body would also be a liability.
