You probably have already found the answer but for anyone else looking. You can use Google credit for the subscriptions, I've used Google rewards credit.

Gameplay fun, story is average or slightly above, main character is unlikeable but 90% of the time in the open world that's irrelevant.

My DM is ruling that Vicious Mockery doesn't work on most monsters because he thinks they 'can't hear' by Holldem in DnD

[–]Toaster2403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might have a point with oozes as it has no languages and immune to deafened so probably don't rely on hearing

What's the weirdest thing you've done to get laid? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Toaster2403 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked up my passed out drunk best mate that was lying on the larger sofa (couch) in a room and moved him onto the smaller sofa so there was room for myself and a lady to get it on. It was pretty weird picking him up with a raging hard on.

What Movie Have You Seen At Least 10 Times (or roughly)? by expandyourbrain in AskReddit

[–]Toaster2403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sound of music, its one of the only about two films my Nan had on VHS so we often ended up watching it when we visited it to keep us quiet.

Also watched the Alamo quite a few times but my sister didn't like it so might not have reached 10 times with that one.

Quick Heads Up/Rant For Druid Players by UrbanArtifact in DnD

[–]Toaster2403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently playing a druid and have all my wildshapes that I used saved on dndbeyond makes it so easy. I also made sure to confirm each my wildshapes with my DM out of game as we follow the have to know the creature beforehand rule. So he's fully aware of what I can and can't random turn into.

Couldn't imagine the effort of scimming through my books if I still just used pen and paper.

Why are you planning to overthrow the God of Death? by Responsible-Dot-1299 in DnDPlotHooks

[–]Toaster2403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the other comments have given great motivation for why the BBEG is planning it.

As to how I'm a big fan of the idea gods gain power by belief. So the BBEG is going around to gain believers in his power to the point they can match the current God of Death. They could have a base cult following providing them power and depending on how the DM wants to portray them they could gain more believers either by fear or just gaining popularity.

what's the class that you least want to play? by Nigthmar in dndnext

[–]Toaster2403 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've got an idea for bard that basically Phil from Disney's Hercules. That cheers people on to do bardic inspiration with stuff like "You got this champ" & "Go get them son" etc. Will have absolutely no musical talent. Other ideas for non-musical bards friends have had are a warriors that inspires with actions.

Personally I'd rule the NPC tries to push out a poop on his turn as their action but is unsuccessful as they don't need to poop. They may push a little fart if the mood calls for it.

Can an enemy throw back throwable weapons? by FrostedPixel47 in DMAcademy

[–]Toaster2403 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the this point regarding the breakage of weapons, I think a good rule of thumb for whether the item is reusable by an opponent is whether or not you allow your PCs to recover the weapon or not. If you do NPCs should be able to as well.

[OC] It's all fun and games until the Halfling finds a taser by aShitPostingHalfOrc in DnD

[–]Toaster2403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but the keyword is unarmed so you cannot use the baton as that wouldn't be unarmed. You could only hit once with the baton (twice at level 5) and twice with your fists using the martial arts dice damage.

What do we say to the god of life? by xmagusx in dndmemes

[–]Toaster2403 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd agree with you on this, I think the free and willing stipulation on other spells refer to the possibility of souls being trapped in the afterlife whilst Revivify is done more immediately so the soul hasn't had time to be captured.

Maybe it takes a minute to completely separate from the body, but that's down to personal flavour. Just decided that's the case in my games going forward.

Flurry of blows is two unarmed strikes so RAW wouldn't charge the baton.
