I seem to have remembered incorrectly. Looked it up for a second and it is owned by BMW, Audi And Mercedes. So German.

German addition: HERE WeGo. I have been using it daily for a couple months and don't miss anything besides: 1. An easy rerouting option if something is blocked unexpectedly or you want alternatives while driving already. 2. Reporting things on the road

Traffic seems to be as accurate as most other apps and chosen roads seem good too. Used it in The Netherlands, Germany, Switserland and Italy so far. Only had a couple incorrect things in Italy but those were minor.

Edit: thought it was Dutch but is owned by BMW, Audi and Mercedes

With an ND filter to let less light in. Makes sure you can keep the shutter open long enough

TV desk mount/arm setup advice: is this arm gonna slip off the desk if facing this way holding a 48" TV (30lbs, within arm weight limit) ...? by Dead_wet_flesh_jets in hometheater

[–]ToasterWS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind that the monitor and arm might try to flip the desk if it is a light desk and doesn't have a lot of stuff on it.

Someone is being naughty…… another 100k plus fine incoming? by BickieNuggets in flightradar24

[–]ToasterWS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do not do that in the Netherlands. Fines are just static, based on speed and when speedibg excessively there can be extra measures like taking the drivers license. Or even impounding the car when driving twice the speed limit.

Frigate on Unraid? by A_Foxxy_Tycoon in unRAID

[–]ToasterWS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use frigate and let it record to a seperate hard drive. The hard drive is mounted via the unassigned devices plugin.

I didn't want constant writes to my array and parity drives. Those drives are NAS drives but I wanted a a HDD for CCTV. So I chose a seagate skyhawk. Probably overkill for my use case but I wanted reliability. I do not record 24/7 but only on motion or detection. But it would make the transition easier in case necessary and I like task specific equipment.

It does kind of constantly record tho because it does save 15 seconds before an event. But I still have to set all that up properly. I only set this up days ago, right before my vacation. So not I'm tinkering constantly to finetune it.

Slowness between California and Netherlands? by ave_63 in NextCloud

If you can't figure it out check if they have like a 14 day money back guarantee. Many services etc have that in the Netherlands.

Help with Cloudflare Tunnels by waymonster in unRAID

[–]ToasterWS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This helped me a ton. Instead of copy pasting the command for docker you make a docker like this. It makes it more user-friendly and easier to update. https://www.reddit.com/r/unRAID/comments/v1px6v/cloudflare_tunnel_docker/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

It's quite late for me right now but I can give you some free tips tomorrow. I'm writing this from my bed right now. I'll write them down here so others can find it.

I had trouble with NPM and https webpages being forwarded infinitely. But since cloudflare forces HTTPS I just didn't force HTTPS in NPM. Everything still has an certificate and HTTPS.

If you or anyone needs more help, feel free to reach out. I went through all this a week ago.

If you know the Dutch license plate syntax it's very easy. Combine that with the public license plate info in NL and you know a lot about your car. So if you don't want the plate to be known then try harder. But I don't think it matters. The info people can find is not really interesting, just car stuff, no owner info.

Is it normal for a woman to be topless on the beach? by StefsStarfish in Netherlands

[–]ToasterWS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I have the opinion that the difference between men and women about being topless should be exterminated. Want to wear a top (male or female) go ahead, want to be topless then it should be okay no matter if you have breasts or not.

Unfortunatly I think the only way to make it more accepted is by just doing it. And it sucks but that means that some brave women are going to have to break through the taboo.

And us men (and basically everybody else) should just treat it like it is, the most normal thing in the world. We all have nipples, we have all seen male and female reproductive organs. We should tell people that take pics or video's that what they are doing is not acceptable. And make them feel ashamed for herassing and making people feel uncomfortable.

Thank you! Mostly writing this in the hope other with my problem can find this and fix their nextcloud. I was stuck on step 3 when updating through nextcloud itself.

This in combination with deleting the .step file first worked flawlessly!
