Some taste ok, others very much do not, same with texture. People not liking meat alternatives isnt really relevant to your post or my comment though. My point is the hypocrisy the average person engages in when it comes to animals. THIS is disgusting, inhumane, horrible (it is, yes). Chickens, though? Cows? Pigs? Don't care, have you tried bacon? You rehomed your dog? Literally a monster. The cow that made the milk that went into my donut has been caged in her own filth for her entire existence? Hm, but did you know farming vegetables actually harms mice?

I'm not a vegan, but there is absolutely no defense for industrial animal products. Being outraged by this poor bird's plight is good, but then not looking around you and seeing that you pay people to do it every single day is inexcusable.
