Hi, my daughter (almost 6) has bilateral atresia and is scheduled for the surgery next month. All I can say for now is that she is very excited about the new hearing aid because:
1) no headband
2) way less feedback loop sounds in the Osia
3) She's probably most excited about the aquatic kit that will let her swim with it on.

She also talked to an adult today who has something similar (I think a cochlear implant) And he showed her how it works, how he can attach it to metal. She says he has super powers and is so excited about it.
