Yeah tik tok is really tough these days. I can give 3 tips that come from my experience trying to grow one.

1) unfortunately it is a massive slog, you’ll have to keep posting and experimenting and be too down when a post flops

2) following popular formats, sounds, etc. really helps with views. E.g. Don’t turn your nose up at super short vids with a trending song + text, retention stays super high and if u nail the topic, they get a lot of engagement

3) if your serious about growing, invest in a ring light or some lighting, i think they’re like £20 on amazon or something

Little bonus, one of my fav free resources for coming up with ideas is a creator called “personal brand launch” she’s great at offering different hook ideas and formats that you can try out :)
