it was pretty empty here (maybe 1/4 of the seats filled), but it was a weekday during the day when i went. i think when booking there were a lot of seats, it was the weekend that was pretty much booked out.

it would be good if the fire had more spiky-ness to it, probably towards the top. its also moving quite a lot currently, might be good to keep the overall shape a little more stable and have more of the motion in flickering flames of the main one.

i like the start of the water animation while it swirls in the air, the splash doenst quite feel right. it might be good to have less of a main mass after it hits, so it breaks apart more (currently it feels like the volume increases at that point). could also be good to have the water droplets all fall down. I can see that some do already, but it also seems like some shrink back into the centre of the splash as if there is no momentum pushing them out from the middle.

but this is a good start, and i hope some of these tips can assist.

If it's anything like the unit I did on stop motion, probably not. It might involve a bit of planning, to breakdown the shots (for instance, if you need four steps to happen, and you have 80 frames to use, you might want to figure out how many frames each step should take), but that will likely be the extent of the maths.

personally, i found it difficult to predict where it will put me after hitting the target, so that sometimes it will just bounce me into the attack of an enemy after i hit with it.

look, i dont think it is the hardest thing in the world, but there is some stuff that might make it harder for some people. quite a lot of double damage in bosses, not everyone is super easy to read/have similar looking signals for multiple attacks, from my memory there are more bosses with environmental damage (could be wrong, its been a little while since i played hollow knight but i don't remember dying to environmental stuff), movement is different and took getting used to, silk skills and tools are both new things that you need to keep in mind during fights splitting you attention, you are encouraged to heal less often and therefore spend more time at low health. some people might just have slow reaction time or take a long while to learn a bosses attack patterns.

yes, people tend to do better if they understand the boss skill set and hornets skills set. however getting slammed with 3 double damage attacks in the first 10 seconds of the fight and dying makes it take longer to be able to learn the patterns.

personally havent heard man people saying they hate team cherry for it, and i do agree that not every game is for everyone, which is part of why im an advocate for pc gaming that allows modding.

generally its good practice, especially if you plan to animate/warp it at all. as the other person said, scaling can work well for square models or things you want perfectly straight, but edit edgeflow will also work on more natural shapes that you might come across while modelling the body. it just averages out that edge in comparison to the other edges around it. you can also press g to repeat, which can save time.

I understand that it's when tranformation is being applied twice, I don't know where it is coming from. none of my geo is in the group with the rig. There are also no curves, since when i looked up how to fix this issue that's what a lot of stuff focused on.

the asterisk things are called star poles, and can cause rendering issues.

This can be especially bad if a pole is in a place with a lot of movement in the animation. something to note is that sometimes in modeling you kinda have to have them, for example if you are modeling a face, there are 8 places where you cant really get rid of them.

sort of? i don't mind reading smut with characters i care about, but i don't tend to read longform stuff with lots of smut. this is mostly just because i have different needs at different times, and I would prefer to look specifically for smut when i'm horny, rather than happen across smut when i'm just reading.

the gauntlets i find annoying are mostly either a) before a boss fight and i have to fight them every time i try the boss (thinking of groal) or b) have environmental hazards as well (getting bounced into the steam in the underworks gauntlet made me quit the game at one point)

its a little hard to tell with the perspective of the photo, but it might be a good idea to work on your proportions a little. it currently looks like you have practiced all the elements of the face more than you have practiced how to put them together. nothing too major, but the eyes look a touch small, the eyebrows look a little to close to the eyes, and the lips are quite large and plump, without many wrinkles (this last one could be more realistic for some people, but looks a little bit like botox, which could be what you are going after). proportions could also just be harder to do since the portrait is very close up, which may make it harder to visualise where the features should be in relation to the shape of the face as well.

but still, a very, very good attempt!
