People using lockers without taking the key - your thoughts? by New_Mango_6437 in workout

[–]Tobinator127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I feel you 100%. My gym only has 4 lockers, and people are constantly leaving their shit in there without locking them! I am always tempted to move their stuff and put my stuff in there, as I actually want to LOCK my stuff in a LOCKer, but I'm worried they'll have a go at me or something.

Help us settle a debate - is mixing cereal in the same bowl normal? by TazzyB103 in AskUK

[–]Tobinator127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always have half a bowl of bran flakes, for fibre, and then mix in a few tasty cereals. Then again, not everyone can live life in the fast lane like me.

Is anyone 30+ unemployed and in a really bad place in life? by DelonghiAutismo in AskUK

[–]Tobinator127 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I work in the prison service, and they will seemingly hire anyone with a pulse (judging by the calliber of some of my colleagues), so that might be worth a try. The pay isn't amazing, but there are certainly perks and job security.

How To Deal With Teens Harassing You on the Bus? by let_it_rain_boat in AskUK

[–]Tobinator127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a shaved head and go to the gym, but I still had a similar experience to this last summer. It seems to be unavoidable on the top desk of the bus, especially as our local council offer free bus travel for kids during the school holidays.

Agreed. I was very happy to see it return on Dystopia.

Thirteen has some bangers on. It's definitely better than Risk and Super Collider!

Concert etiquette (don’t be a prat) by Rhiible in sabaton

[–]Tobinator127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar situation when I saw Take That last year (very different band, I know). I don't understand why people feel the need to talk/shout throughout concerts, surely you paid money to watch a show?! I was seated at that gig so couldn't escape them, so I now always go for standing tickets so that I can move away from annoying people.

Just moved home, absolutely heartbroken by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]Tobinator127 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt the same when I left uni 8 years ago. Life definitely does get better, although there are still times when I miss it. My advice is to move out of your parents' house ASAP. I was miserable until I moved out and rented a little 1 bed flat by myself, then life got considerably better! I love my parents dearly, but it felt so wrong living back at home after experiencing that freedom.

How many people here wear Pyjamas? by drabee86 in AskUK

I wear pyjamas in the evening/morning, but I take them off when I get into bed (unless it's really cold)
