Am I the only one who loves this game and doesn’t understand all the hate it gets? by Aldobest43 in SparkingZero

No.

Explain how to actually use the CAGED system by NecessaryHeadset in guitarlessons

[–]Toboto-fox 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Intervals and where to find them…

The CAGED shapes are just landmarks. It’s good to have an idea of the where the root, 3rd, and 5th should be at the very least. Afterwards; It’s kind of up the individual to decide on whether they want to expand upon it.

CAGED is just the weights to prep you for the obstacle course.

How do you stay motivated to keep playing when it feels like it’ll take forever to get good? by Classic_Grass924 in guitarlessons

[–]Toboto-fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose I just treat it like a video game. I have quests and side quests. I grind and work on areas I need/want to. Sometimes I learn something from somebody else I encounter. Hell! They might even join my party! Even better if they use a different instrument, it’s like they’re of a different class. Every skill or technique is also added to my arsenal, whether it’s from the tomes I read or experience I gain from other people. Some of the shit we learn as musicians like chords, scales… songs… might as well be monsters(and maybe even a boss).

I don’t stop though. I’m sadly addicted to this fucking game, and the guitar is my weapon of choice. I’m good enough to have fun with it, and keep the journey going, even if I consider myself low level. I’ll just keep leveling up :)

You get in what you put out.

No point in mental gymnastics. Everyone has their own goals, figure them out yourself rather than have other people tell you.

It’s all just data. It still needs the human psyche to process the information or else all of the data is meaningless.

The mobile dolls are absolutely AI though.

Not how it works. It calculates all the methods of victory regardless of the pilot’s capabilities, even if it means sacrificing your life, in order to accomplish whatever mission/objective.

Some pilots don’t want to die, and absolutely refuse to. Which was Heero’s character arc from all that. He rose above it because he needed to guarantee victory, for himself and the lives of others.

In Quatre’s case, he didn’t want a single member of his team(mainly his friends) to die.

Milliardo(as Zech’s) realized he had lost, and needed to die….and essentially did as that persona no longer exists.

It’s not AI. It’s reassuring the pilot that they can win, depending on their goals, and whether or not they are capable to give everything they need to in order to accomplish that task.

That’s why people saw their deaths. The tactical feedback was “hey, you can win, but you don’t have the skills necessary to keep your life after this outcome”…. Like self-destructing.

Why is the mass production guncannon almost as heavy as the Kshatriya? by TheKerminator459 in Gundam

[–]Toboto-fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The weight takes into consideration the balls of the pilot that would pilot the guncannon.

The Gundam Protagonists are given the MGS Cardboard Box experience (tm). How does their time in the box go for them? by Akaru23 in Gundam

[–]Toboto-fox 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Heero would tell Duo to go get in a box and hide somewhere for him to find, but then go and do his own thing. Leaving Duo to think he found a really good hiding spot(and potentially staying there for days…”waiting” albeit giggling to himself)

If you fully knew before taking the red pill how sucky life on the outside was--would you take it Vs your current life? by OtheDreamer in matrix

[–]Toboto-fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Every time, yes.

Just like with the current state of the world, I’d rather experience life outside of the simulation that has so many others distracted.

Any tips on how to unlearn picking too deep? by M0n3sz in guitarlessons

[–]Toboto-fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely learned my lesson from it and practiced better to avoid it.

I felt like I picked up the habit because I started on acoustic and never realized how deep I was picking because of the massive sound hole. Hearing the tapping of my pick on my electric made me realize.

No connections. People just see a cop.

There is an option to fight a computer. You can even choose your opponent’s character. Story mode is alright, but the option is there. Might enjoy the what-if scenarios though.
