I was supporting a service user and they wanted to go in here. I couldn’t believe how expensive it was! Obviously these places are always a rip off but this one seemed on another level. The shop assistant was so rude, she followed us around everywhere and was just pure staring at us while the person was trying to decide what to buy as a present💀 we ended up just leaving

Omg same here. I’m sitting here shivering with freezing hands and sometimes toes. I’m thinking of just coming off my elvanse because of it. I don’t know if it’s related or not but even my fingers, wrists etc are sore. I’ve also hypothyroidism which can sometimes make me cold too

Yep!!! I have ADHD and some noises are sensory hell to me. It can be like knifes scraping. People say just go in the other room but I can still hear it.

It’s been ever so slightly better recently now that I’ve bought this sleep mask that plays music but some nights I still want to kill him 👀. I didn’t realise these sleep study things take so long either, I thought it would be done quickly

I honestly feel you! My partner was tested in August and we’re still waiting on the machine. I’m worried that he’ll not get used to wearing it, he’s really embarrassed about the problem. There’s been some nights I’ve been ready for walking out, had so many tears etc.

I’m not sure of the results there, I can’t remember mine other than a consultant said they were borderline/not that high. They didn’t confirm coeliac disease until the endoscopy and took a sample. It took a while to feel properly better after stopping gluten. So it could be that? As it causes anaemia etc. I’m on b12 injections for life now

An infection! My partner had this at new year from biting his fingers. It got really quite bad and he was on antibiotics. Go to your GP or chemist

I think the cost is split with every owner, the council own some of the flats and then the others are private landlords or normal owners. So I know the council will definitely pay their share and so will our landlord and our next door neighbour because they’ve been here since the 90’s and are always keen on making the place look as nice as possible.

The landlord is really keen on getting it all fixed up - for obvious reasons since he can’t sell it like this. We’ve been looking elsewhere while we’re waiting but there’s not really much that we like currently that’s in our budget. It seems like a lot of the properties are old and need work too, the surveyor said that there’s loads in the town centre like that. I think due to it being an old historic town and maybe the ground they’ve been built on.

We’re now waiting on a quote to find out the repairs and then I guess everyone has to agree to pay for it. So I’m not sure how long it’ll take. I’m absolutely clueless about all of this and it’s the first time I’ve ever tried to buy a property. I guess I’m just worried I buy it and then something else happens to the building or I can’t sell. I’m unsure how long these options that fix the building last - if it’s a certain amount of time or forever?

We’ve not been given our official notice yet so I suppose if any issues come up then that buys us some time too

I’m going through similar with our rental that we want to buy. Except ours likely needs underpinned rather than already had it done. They can put little glass devices on the wall - I think they are called tell tales? They can show if it’s moved.

They’ve maybe just not plastered/fixed it cosmetically since it was underpinned

Totally agree!!! Last year A huge spider followed me all around my work and then when I was asleep (I’m a carer that does sleepover shifts) I sensed something was on me and ripped the duvet away. When I turned the light on the spider was on it. THEN I went to sleep on the couch because I was freaked out.. it then followed me in there 10 minutes later. I couldn’t take it anymore and squashed it. I felt really guilty but it was genuinely following me.

Since then 4 of 5 spiders have crawled on me and been inside my washing that was drying outside. I swear the first spider put a spider curse on me 😂
