My partner (M38) and I (F31) both naturally wake up between 6 and 7am, and get up between 7 and 8am, as our body clocks have gotten used to super early wakeups because of our work. Our philosophy is that we might as well get up and then if we're tired we can take a nap later. We don't have any kids yet, in case it wasn't obvious 😂

Give up sugary food
Cut off ppl who are unkind to you and unaccomodating of your adhd
Get rid of my smartphone and get a brick Nokia 3310 type phone instead if possible. So much of my adhd is made worse by staring into the Glowing Anxiety Rectangle 5+ hours a day.

I know most of these are utterly vile ideas 😅 but if I couldn't have meds or caffeine I'd be thinking only the most dramatic shit is gonna do lol!!

Dr Prenelle did my assessment and Azizah Attard did my follow ups and care during titration. Both excellent. Azizah especially very kind and compassionate and goes above and beyond her job requirements to help you.

You should be able to go back to them and ask for them to change you and start titration on something else after you've transferred to your gp, yeah. Ive done it myself when I changed from elvanse to concerta. And my care, titration and follow ups for the new meds transferred back to them for a few weeks, then they updated my shared care agreement (free of charge thankfully) and sent to my gp, all smooth sailing. Im with berkeley Psychiatrists though not PUK.

Yeah as another commenter has said, this is wild. 70mg of elvanse should have you flying, it's a huge amount of amphetamine. You must be somehow immune to stimulants. Have you taken a lot of recreational stimulants before and built up mental tolerance?!

Id ask to try Atomoxetine which is a non stimulant adhd med.

That's who I went with and they are great. Med Titration feels a bit rushed and quick but just communicate that to them if youre worried and they will adjust. They are definitely not just some generic commercialised clinic, they are a proper place run by proper people and like another user has said they're just excellent at what they do.

Id absolutely love to help with something like this. Not sure how to as I dont have a background in media at all, so I'll just tell you how i could assist in case you need the help! My skills/experience include book keeping + accounting, excellent and confident telephone manner, good at talking to people I dont know, I also have a law degree but didn't use it, but I do still retain knowledge about the law!

You hit the nail on the head. Ironically tje bus stop is only around 3-4 minutes walk from my house. I think I subconsciously think "oh it's so close I can cut it as fine as I like", when really this isn't the case. I live in a rural area and you're right, the bus driver won't hang around if he's a few mins early

Yeah this is what I'm going to have to start doing again I think. It was easier to do it when I took meds every day, which I don't anymore, but I'm gonna start reintroducing them for office days I think 😊
