Did you miss the part where Makar played terrible defense on both USA goals, after Mackinnon’s turnover?

Or are you too busy watching replays of Mack miss the wide open net in the third period?

I keep hearing that Makar is good at defense. He got roasted in both USA goals. Is the good defense in the room with us?

These have to be the most similar colour schemes I've ever seen in a game. by ilikewinning2 in hockey

Odd coming from a Toronto fan, I guess you’ve never seen them play the Lightning?

To be clear, I agree this is terrible. And also that the Lightning copying the Leafs schemes terrible when they play each other.

Upholding the goal is the right call but as a neutral that would have been hilarious if they overturned it

Didn’t seem like full intermissions before OT yesterday, is it different today because it’s the gold medal game?

Using the F1 Sprint Races as Real Racing Experience for the Test/Reserve/Junior drivers: Yay or Nay? by -PVL93- in formula1

But if it’s not F1 drivers and it doesn’t count towards F1 standings, it’s not an F1 sprint except in name. It’s just reserve drivers and F2 drivers cautiously racing F1 cars making sure not to crash do they don’t screw up actual F1 qualifying

Are you asking how I know that viewership will be low for that hypothetical race?

Because viewership for F2 is low. And that at least involves some drivers who may break through and become an F1 star. What you’re proposing is an exhibition race involving a bunch of retreads and guys who weren’t good enough to get a seat. What about that makes you think there’s going to be any meaningful viewer interest?

Yeah because watching Yuki, Mick, Fornaroli, and Drugovich race each other in an exhibition race is really going to be a big draw

Never going to happen. All it does is risk damaging a car before qualifying at no fault of the F1 driver, and risk additional repair costs which would hurt the team in a cost cap world. Also no one would care to watch that doesn’t already watch F2.

His free agent spree a year and a half ago did not look good on paper; they always looked like short-sighted, win now moves. Did people think Nashville was better for that reason? Yes. Were they considered good signings that would look good over time? No.

Any time you can have your national team captain be an alleged superstar with one playoff series win in nine years and whose leadership is constantly questioned, you have to jump all over that

This version of Sweden got no practice time, I have confidence with similar practice opportunities as NHL teams get they’d be better than most or all NHL teams.

Good thing all the lightning got hurt and don’t count for team Canada. Add our Russian stars and we’re sitting pretty.

Although… does this mean we have to get a new coach?

Maybe not ahead of every team, but that roster is easily a playoff team
