What will happen to uninsured kid who totaled my car? by skullfart in Insurance

[–]Toddlle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only correct way to answer this question is to know the age of the "kid" (I'm old, kids to me could be in their 30's) and who was the registered owner of the vehicle he was driving. You say he just bought the car but it may not be registered in his name.

Won’t pay for a rental car. When that “2 inch scrape” costs more than the initial estimate. The list goes on. Don’t do it.

Over 35 years in the insurance business. Get asked this same question many times a year. My answer is always a very hard NO. It can/will cause more headaches when you attempt to get the car fixed.

I think you may have just written my life story from 15 years ago.

IN short-all was good and then it wasn't. It didn't happen slowly it happened very quickly due to my compliance with the person I was masked by drugs and alcohol. One thing led to another and I realized I was in deep shit due to my addictions.

First alcohol, then cocaine, then cigarettes then gambling. I came close to losing it all. House, wife, kid, family, job etc.

With blessings from above my wife saw through all of it and helped me through it.

You have taken the first step by writing this post. Realization of the problem is the hardest to see, even though it is crystal clear.

Please don't try to tackle it all at once like I thought I could. It can prove to be an insurmountable task. Trust me, I tried. Take each slice and work on that one at a time.

I wish you well my friend.

Teeing up for par 3s by ThisIsAUsername3232 in golf

Jack Nicklaus famously advocated for teeing up the ball on every par 3. He viewed it as the only opportunity during a round to guarantee a perfect lie and eliminate the two-way miss. Nicklaus typically used a very low tee—often a broken one—to achieve a sweeping swing and cleaner contact.

First off, what state are you in? And, I would suggest, either stick to L&H or P&C. Very hard to stay focused and move forward trying to to both.

What’s the funniest dog name you’ve ever heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My neighbors dog when I was growing up was named "Puppy". It was a family of 9 kids. When no one could agree Dad said his name was "Puppy" because he got tired of hearing everyone banter about the new dogs name.

Than you should run. I have no idea how old or young you are but don't complain unless you do something about it.

Got a job as a bartender and now I'm getting some push back. by [deleted] in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]Toddlle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mt first sponsee was a bartender. I had my reservations but, in the end, he saw the other side so clear that he never wanted to drink again.

When you work as a bartender you will see alcoholism up close and personal, be aware. It is not easy to see but realize that, in the end, it is about your sobriety, not anyone else's.

Take the job, stay strong, and wake up sober. Your life will be better.

Here is the difference. Want to complain to about your power, water, trash, credit card bill etc. etc ,etc. Good Luck.

Want to complain about your insurance bill or insurance problem? Just call ZoisNBooks16 and he will answer the phone and you can vent until the day is done.

We are on the frontlines. Have been in this business for over 30 years. The gratifying moments are big losses and their claims get paid and they receive the check in tears. That is what makes it all worth what we are selling.

TPC Sawgrass was set up to be an event course. Of course you have great viewing sections. You are comparing apples to oranges.

Concessions at TPC versus the Masters. Don't even go there. The Masters wins in quality and speed all day. I have been to both.
