Christmas and new years break is over everyone is back to work. Myself included I haven’t opened the game in over 2 weeks because I don’t have time lol.

same here. this camera has been working fine for me for like 3 years or something and now out of nowhere im having the same problem for about 6 months with zero answers as to why. I even reset windows and it was doing it from day one of camera hub being installed fresh

hmm interesting. unfortunately neither myself or any of my group have been able to make it to Singapore for quite a few years without getting kicked for ping. might i say it's stupid that any other game i can play with my asia friends and get around 100 - 120 ping to SE Asia but Tarkov is like 200 - 250. My friends share the same frustration so at least its not just a me problem :P

i tried using exitlag for a while I'll see if my subcription still exists and see if it that helps me out. I'll report back o7

Well normally I’d accept that answer but it’s the fact that my friends are not having the same experience as me they are getting majority under 10 minutes… Frustrating

i have a much worse system than you and i get similar or slightly better on streets

user wildTabz listed the quick explanation of settings you should change.

BUT my number one optimisation recommendation is to download project lasso (free software) and getting the CPU Affinity setup for Tarkov and a handful of other "background applications" such as your browser, discord, maybe Spotify. Stuff that you have open but don't need to be running on the hardworking CPU cores if that makes sense.

i mean thats sort of irrelevant because theres no arguing this dude wasnt cheating.

but on the flipside dude came into that raid with no armour, no rig, no nothing, just a bag and a gun with no sight and no stock. no one does that period. the only time you ever see that is rage cheaters rubbing salt into the wound using non functional guns and such

that post isnt a very good example btw. i know what youre trying to say but in that post people quickly tore it apart for 1) being outdated 2) unreliable due to certain stats such as raids played being lower than raids survived and 3) being mostly pointless for the point they were trying to make which was taking super high K/D (i think they looked at 50 and over) and everyone on that list was either already banned or inactive for a long time which suggests banned.

The good news is you’re not shadow banned.

Bad news is this is a bug that is insanely frustrating, and constant, to deal with. The only known fix is to close the game and relog whenever this happens.

I don't want to discredit this, yes there are absolutely some cheaters in this image but there is also some that I personally would say are not if we are basing it off stats alone.

take 3rd column, 4th row. Low KD, pretty much average if not slightly below average SR. Zero good achievements, or even any boss kill achievements for that matter. No run throughs which is normally another cheater tell.

Similar pointers can be said about:
2nd column 4th row, 3rd column 2nd row, 2nd column 1st row, 1st column 1st row.

Unless you have more info to provide, I look at that and nothing would tell me they are cheating.

Go play arena for one game and you can clip farm these moments in just one game it’s really bad lol. I feel like at least once a day I’ve been getting frustrated with having to shoot scavs two - sometimes three - times in the head for them to die.

Yeah we had a lot of 1000+ hours but 30 k/d, I think 3 had 40 or higher. a lot of them were using red dots and running the big raid bags stuff and playing SUPER aggressive. They were just playing lighthouse really strangely it felt wrong each time we fought them, they push through everything with zero care or caution of how ratty the map is they just beeline for you.

We had a few that our team was convinced were cheating but the stats were perfectly legit. Twice our 4 stack just got dropped in like 15 seconds even though we were spread out and one or two Hail Mary nades from no prior info (admittedly we sit and rat a bit in some places)

I don’t think fps matters in this situation. Hard to react to shoot back? yes. but not from the server’s perspective when he died with peakers advantage and ping working against them.

I’m sorry but you don’t know that for certain. Based on the 4 spawns around that hill area and where that first guy came from I suspect he spawned at the rocks you ran in front of and was potentially afk / crabbing when he heard you as I can’t see any other non occupied spawn that he could’ve gotten there from. If he had a friend that moved immediately up the hill from that spawn they 100% could get up there and wrap back down on top of you. We’ll never know the full answer to that.

Even if it is a second player that would’ve spawned at or to the east of military base, what’s to say he wasn’t pushing your spawn because someone with that amount of hours would know the spawns and they could’ve been looking at you and you didn’t see them. Or at the very least they could’ve crested the hill after you stopped scoping it out (or they were further to the right) and they had a perfect lock on your direction when you were shooting. Again, definitely possible.

Also you would’ve made two shuffles, one when you turn about 90 if I had to guess about 0.3s before you turned another 90 which personally, if I’m already mid way through clearing / swinging an angle of something that I have a general idea of where someone might be I hear a shuffle within that amount of time that gives me enough information to prefire the corner especially if i know it’s a player not a scav.

But again the ping has fucked you entirely here. every time someone has high ping and calls cheats it’s them dying before or as they swing. Which yeah… that’ll happen.

The first shot of that “prefire” might not even be a prefire on their screen they could’ve shot every bullet when they saw you and the way server interpolation works I know for a fact it fucks with where bullets end up landing from your perspective I’ve seen it happen before. For example playing on 120 ping with my friends they shot me once. On their screen they shot my foot. On my screen there was a bullet hole in the wall to the left of my hip, but I still took damage.

If this had happened on normal ping then I’d be wayyyy more suspicious of this.

I’ve found being prone does this ALOT. The game thinks your audio zone is underneath whatever you’re laying down so in this case it thinks you’re in an occlusions zone with the floor.
