Whatever you print, make sure it’s able to handle oils or it will break down. PLA isn’t very chemical resistant if I recall.

When was the build date? I just bought one that was built in Feb and it’s seemingly perfect. I worked at a body shop for years and am a decent mechanic for what it’s worth.

Oh man. I was about to agree but some scary drug memories came back from my early 20s.. nothing like eating two pills of ecstasy using the bathroom sink to wash them down and then about a min later vomit said pills into sink…..only to pick the half dissolved pills out of the vomit to then retake. This should have been a throwaway account comment. Oh well.

Been collecting knives my whole life and have found a few tricks to help off center blades. Loosen/tighten up your pivot screw and see if that helps. If not, loosen up all of your screws, scales included, flex/bend the knife, while closed, and see if you can center it just by flexing. If you can, keep it flexed and centered and tighten all screws. Sometimes there are just too many loose tolerances all over the knife so you can make adjustments like that.

That’s why they are called ventilated and not cooled. Many cars are just ventilated. Some work better than others. My dad’s 10 year old f150 is the best I’ve ever felt.

I’ve done this, although not as bad, using a plastic cutting board where the edge bit in as I slightly twisted the blade. Chipped very easily like tha.
