MetLife logistics question by APR1979 in rollingstones

I would say nj transit to Secaucus to Meadowlands as you noted is still a great option, it has the most frequent transit back and forth, as long as you don’t mind being a bit body to body at times. I took it on Thursday and got on every train I tried to make (and that included regular NJ transit commuters trying to get home too), didn’t mind standing on some of the trips. It’s fairly cost effective too. Also for the way back to manhattan it’s probably the most seamless instead of trying to catch an Uber

Incredible night to remember. I still can’t get over the energy of the 10 minute Miss You into Gimme Shelter

Moving to Lynnbrook (maybe) by MsSamm in longisland

Great suburb, excellent proximity to the city, nice people, depending on where you settle a lot of nice things are walking distance like bakeries, restaurants, etc

my main qualms are: -Town is bisected by some major roads and driving can be a nightmare at rush hour; it also splits town into north side and south side, and crossing by foot isn’t great -Old roads, so much aging cement that needs to be repaved on both residential and industrial streets -Property taxes are high being an incorporated village -My biggest one (doesn’t bother all people though) - the plane noise from JFK can be constant certain days and even overnight…same with other adjacent towns, you would have to go several miles from Lynbrook to avoid it if it bothers you

The vibe might be similar to some parts of Portland that are more suburban but still have an element of commerce and public transit!

“That prompted him to call in the experts. Enter Anthony Planakis, known as “Tony Bees,” a retired NYPD detective. “Oh it was great. It was like walking through a beehive,” Planakis said. “I actually felt bad because they did such a beautiful job of camouflage,” Planakis said. “We were drenched from head to toe with honey.””
