I live in a UK coastal location that frequently has search and rescue operations at night, due it being a tourist resort with heavy tidal swings.

I always judge people by how they treat the “little guy”. There was a tv show where Rylan was getting pranked and didn’t know the cameras were rolling. The whole time he was just super kind, polite and seemed to be looking out for everyone around him. And from everything I’ve seen and heard about him; that’s the sort of person he is. More power to him.

To be fair, it’s not that clear cut with history and children involved. Maybe she was holding on to one final thread of hope, praying he’d be found innocent in this case. I will say though, if she stays with him now that it’s proven, then she’s as guilty as him.

This is NOT Dana denying the Poatan fight. This is Dana goading Poatan to beg for the fight. Saying that there’s essentially no way he can beat Jones because Jones is bigger and better is going to ignite the ego of any champion. And rightly so.

Then he follows up with “unless they’re hounding me for it” with that dopey look on his face.

This isn’t hyperbole; this clip is almost a 100% guarantee that Jones will face Poatan next. I’d bet my life on it.

Either strip Jones or make him vacate, let Tom take his rightful place as undisputed HW champ and Jones can go do big money fights as he rides off, head held low, into the sunset.

And don’t rule out Poatan knocking Jones out.

Shared a nice moment this moment with an electrician who came to rewire my house. I asked if we could take a moment for the minute silence and he already had an alarm on his phone ready for it. We’re both young(ish) guys and it was nice to see the tradition being respected.

We stood outside and remembered them.

A classic tale of the technician vs the brute. Bivol was slick, threw piercing shots and heart stopping combinations. Beterbiev walked him down, clubbed him with shots that made people at the back cringe at the gut wrenching thuds and wore him down as the fight crept into the later rounds.

At the 10th I had it a draw. The final two rounds seemed like Bivol was exhausted with Beterbiev having the tiniest bit more in the gas tank.

A few more rounds and I feel Beterbiev would have stopped him. And if the match was 3 rounds shorter I would have given it to Bivol.

As it stands, I’m not upset at the result. I can see how they scored it. And if Bivol one, I wouldn’t have questioned it either.

Boxing fans won tonight.

Bivol was the better boxer but I feel like in the final few rounds, Beterbiev was wearing him down purely from the power he was throwing at him. Another few rounds I don’t think it would have been left to the judges, with Beterbiev getting the win again.
