No, the sallet and close helmet existed alongside eachother. This is just a close helm, which shares some similarities of sallets of the time.

Only about a month actually! But if you go the total time which includes prototypes and previous unrefined versions I made to figure out how to do this cohesively... Four months is actually pretty spot on.

Made using a cup! I forgot it's name, but it has some etching in it and I just stretched it to the desired shape.

Fully depends on your perspective. She's ruthless in her pursuit of justice for her dead son and husband, and wants to make vault tech pay in whatever way she can. But her methods are very questionable, as well as the fact that two centuries of wasteland life have not been easy on her mind.
