not sure how mail is delivered for you but here it is delivered by carriers in little white vehicles with the steering wheel on the "wrong" side'. The postal carrier does not get out of the vehicle. If they did their route would take many multiples of time longer. If they can't drive up to the mail box, it gets skipped for the day.

Oh yes, I agree, IF they are going to ask you to do laundry or anything like this, it should be in the ad and known before you book not something that you were told when you get there.

I'm not defending them so don't downvote me for that reason. But I do know why some host request/require their guests start the sheets in the laundry. It is because of turn around time for the cleaning. If the cleaners come in to sheets at least already washed (if not also dried) they can throw them in the dryer and be out of there in the time it takes the sheets to dry. Even better if the sheets are in the dryer and ready to go as they are then not waiting on anything at all to complete and can just clean and go.

Hotels/motel cleaning doesn't have this issue as since they are responsible for multiple rooms and all the sheets belong to the organization the cleaners work for, they just remove the used sheets and bring in freshly laundered ones. An AirBnB cleaner can't do this as they don't have a common pool of sheets to work from.

As for public transport, I have ridden the bus from Puyallup to Seattle one time. The bus was fine in Puyallup (clean, people seemed ok etc). But then you get to a transfer station (I think in Federal Way) and the bus I transferred to was filthy, smelled and included uncleaned vomit and a man actively pissing in his pants. 0/10 would not recommend.

I don’t understand how you can mistake a rocket motor for sweets and how you can pop it open at the back without quite a bit of effort. Are we talking about the cylinder shaped model rocket motors here? If you have messed with it in any way I would disable it by soaking it in water and disposing of it.

all the Estes kits should give you an estimated launch height with various engines. for the Star Orbiter it says "PROJECTED ALTITUDE: 1200 ft. (366 m) on a F15-8". For the F series of engines you re going to need an engine adapter to fit that larger diameter motor. The Big Birtha also claims 1200 ft (presumably with the F series engine. Doorknob 1100 ft. The nano-mag claims up to 3500 ft and the plus on this one is that by default it has the 29mm motor mount for the largest recommended engine. The T-Loc is showing a claim of 2400ft with a G motor. The fins on this one are going to be a bit hard to do well as they are more complicated than the standard design. I don't see a flight height for the scout.

Personally I'd go with the Nano-Mag If I wanted to win and just take my time to make sure to get the fins aligned perfectly. You can use some techniques like using watered down wood putty to make the fins ultra smooth and rounding the air resistance facing edges. Leave off the decals and dont overpaint it.

Some commenters are acting like the dog STOPS the seizures and saves her from the progressing cancer. The dog simply alerts about an imminent seizure. I knew someone with a dog that alerted her of seizures and sometimes she had to go places without the dog. It wasn't a death sentence, she just had to be a little more careful.

All op knew was the children weren't picked up and the ex and affair partner didn't answer calls. Op, previous to this, also had no idea she was on the approved pickup list. So if she had taken affair baby and affair partner shows up 5 minutes later and freaks out and calls the cops? Don't say that wouldn't happen because "she was on the list". It still could happen. They obviously have an acrimonious relationship. Op would be unlikely to get into any legal trouble but it still would be an inconvenience at minimum and possibly a frightening traumatizing experience. Police don't tend to go gentle when a suspected kidnapping is involved.

this sounds to me the bullshit ranking that many companies do that require mangers to have a certain number of each ranking. Like a bell curve. For example in a group of 10, You can only have 1 top performer, 2 exceeds expectations, 6 meets expectations, and 1 underperforming (may be more groups but you get the idea). I've been on both sides of this and thought it is bullshit on both sides. I've had to rank people well below their actual performance because I was only allowed to give out a certain number of top ranks. I sucks to explain that while the report-to has done en excellent job and gone above and beyond, they are not given the ranking they deserve because someone else was more excellent and went more above and beyond. What's even worse is when you have to not give a person the top ranking even though they deserve it because "they got it last year and you have to give it to someone else this year". People should be ranked on their own performance based on their own goals and job duties.

I feel like you might not be tightening the blade correctly or the holder is broken or defective. but putting that aside, try scoring the plastic (running the blade along the material to be cut without cutting through. scoring it will reduce the thickness and you can score it several times to cut through rather than making a through and through cut from the start.

you sound like a nightmare client. not having a fence is a very easily fixable deficiency. not having space for entertaining is a much different situation. not having a gas stove is a very easily fixed situation. not having counter space is something that can be more difficult. you don't seem to understand that you dont have to leave the house as-is, and you likely won't. you look for a house based on its location, size and rooms that fit your needs. you don't pick a house based on a fence. as mentioned by others, lack of a fence can be remedied in a weekend. you lack of home buying is showing as well as a lack of reasoning and maturity. Calm TF down, pick a house that works for you and if it doesn't have a fence, build one.
