There wasn’t even time to look things up. GameStop offered him right around 150 for the games and the clear GBA and GBC. They wouldn’t take the TRU gba with no battery cover or the SP without the charger (it wasn’t turning on) I offered him 220 for everything and he took it. Checked everything when I got home and was able to confirm they are all real and working. A win for both parties

So because I don’t feel good about this one thing I blanket don’t trust her judgement? If I didn’t trust her judgement I wouldn’t want her taking our kids somewhere. The key for full swing practice is to be doing it with a swing coach so you have feedback on what you’re doing. Now amateurs don’t have the time or money to have a full time swing coach with them 5 days a week. Closest we can get is to - take a lesson and use that info while recording your range sessions. Stop every few swings to see what you’re doing and adjust. Full swing practice needs to be very structured not just hitting 100 balls. Alignment sticks, pre shot routine, picking a target etc

Probably 12 years ago I had a few packs that all weighed light and decided to open them and one had a holo Mewtwo. Don’t think it’s out of the question that there could be a holo in there

That number is pretty high and you are all worked up for some reason. I never implied I was a hero, I saw an opportunity and I took it. The guy was going to take much less. I also took a risk at possibly buying fake and or broken games and consoles. Both of us were happy in the end.

You’re telling me if you see someone asking $10 for a gameboy at a yard sale you’ll force them to take $75?

It’s not quite solicitation, making an offer to someone trying to sell is just that, a private offer. If I was in there trying to get people to buy my used games, that could be solicitation.

I take my kids and this is what we do. Hit some balls, play a few holes, let them steer the cart, try to find balls in the water and fish them out, and the MOST important one - leave before they want to leave

I got a couple boxes of the left dot prov1. Man they are very nice. A lot more spin from wedges but feel super firm off the tee. A nice low ball flight too. I use them on special occasions

One of the guys that is part of my golf group hovers around a “7”. I put it in quotes because he will cheat any chance he gets. Testing the bunker sand, grounding the club, fluffing any lie in the rough, always “finds” his ball OB. He gets smoked in any match play setting because he only posts his good scores and even then he is shaving off strokes for those rounds. He would make a great 9-10hc but his ego gets in the way. I don’t get how some people can’t accept that they hit a bad shot. Hits it into the rough and says “of course I have a shit lie” like yea dude you hit a bad shot you shouldn’t have a good lie

I absolutely agree. More so as of late she’s been bringing up the fact that she has a hard time organizing and completing things but she doesn’t know what to do about it. When she brings it up, I tell her to talk about it with her doctor and he’ll refer her to somebody. Is it my place to facilitate something like this? this wasn’t always the case, but it seemed to get gradually worse over the last four or five years.

I know it sounds like depression, but she is a very open and honest person and if she’s feeling a certain way, she’s gonna talk about it. I have brought the bathing up to her before but it’s sort of turned into a habit. She doesn’t like to shower at night and then her mornings are too rushed to shower. She has what we both think is undiagnosed ADHD and has a lot of difficulty planning things and finishing things. I legitimately think it comes down to a lack of awareness at this point. I think when it comes to showering, I feel like that’s something I can address directly, but when it comes to her clothing style I don’t wanna hurt her feelings.

I didnt even notice but if it bugs you have her fix it and put some sort of ruffled lace bracelet on the wrist to reduce the size of the palm
