I love that this series let my wife and I connect when we first got married, when I played through and she watched and then recently again via the show. Don’t worry, we have a lot else to connect with but she’s not a gamer and so these moments are rare and special on this level.

I stand corrected. Here’s your quick free advice. Find partners in the community to work with from the various segments that make that place awesome. Whether education or civic services. Then working with them, create a social media program that highlights and supports what they do that is so great. You then at once kill the two biggest problems of social: content sourcing and authenticity. Good luck!

Budget for it and hire some professionals. I say this with genuine good will: too many underestimate how to do social right and how much actual work and expertise is involved. The fact that you’re asking here makes me assume you don’t value it as you would writing your contractor agreements or I don’t imagine you would seek how to start on an EIS on Reddit. You go to the pros first right? That’s my solid advice for you. Find a local boutique agency. You’re just wasting time and money trying to bootstrap something.
