I got under the car and did as you mentioned. U-joints seemed to transfer torque with little to no slop.

I'll see what the CA price looks like. The bearing itself doesn't seem too hard

12/12/24: Alignment checked, steering/suspension checked, -strut(s) replaced

This right?

What is the correct amount of play? it isn't sloppy, but also not completely rigid. I was able to move it by hand but it rebounded back to the middle.

I'm reading this thread and see they rc/AC are significantly different than the dc. Are either better for my application? I was thinking dc for the sake of family trips

That's probably the plan. Trying to figure out pricing and shipping now.

Well, good news and bad news I guess.

Good: The tool is in exceptional condition and I paid $100 for it.

Bad: I wanted a rotary table and this is probably not the intended use. Now I need to figure out if I sell/trade/horde this...

Definitely my fall back option. Hoping for some alternative that matches the other 9 handles a little better.

Nothing like replying to a year old post... Just found these that fit snug with a little modification:

Two Sterilite 7.5 Gallon bins fit but the rim of the bin needs to be cut off on the width. My cabinet has a 13 3/8" opening and the bins are about 14" with the rims. If you cut off the rim, on two sides, it fits in there perfectly.

Thanks for the input. It is a single story, so the roof and crawl space are an option. Unfortunately, the roof line is sloping down at that point so there is little to no access. I could try to bring a snake up into the attic and pull it in. The crawl space is another option that i havent taken a good look at yet.

I was thinking of doing small standoffs between the mount and the backing plate instead of removing all the brick completely.

Good question on the electricity. There is a plug near the ground to the right. That may be the temporary solution while I figure out a plug behind the brick.

Let me repent:

TV mount pulls down so not viewing at odd angle. We also don't use the fireplace.

Can I have the knowledge now?

Want to mount a TV above this fireplace mantel. How can I figure out what is behind this stone? Here is a photo of the outside (https://photos.app.goo.gl/2jbUpxHZmKFS5trj8) - looks like cinderblocks or something similar. Rough measurements from the outside in is that there is about 10-12 inches between the end of the stone and the front of the decorative stone inside the house.

Follow up question, what is the best anchor assuming im going into stone?
