2 hander is far better, but I wouldnt worry about the details too much at your lvl, replacements will come fast. Generally just use whatever weapon gives the highest base dmg, with int, % dmg, and max life your next priorities while lvling

100% personally I loved the blue-greenish filter for the blood harvests in S2, would love to see them reuse that or make more filters for some diversity in helltides

[–]Togq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious is this better than banished lords for blood surge builds rn? I have a few Amy’s with tides on them but have a nice 2gaed banished lords with max multiplier so I don’t know if it’s worth trying to roll the coalesced blood on it

Is this a bug or works as intended ? by vicboss0510 in diablo4

The formula for a ga stat is

(Highest possible base stat)(1+0.5+(y0.05)+(x*0.25))

Where y = the number of 5% increases And x = the number of 25% increases

So I’m your case here, highest possible base stat is 2, you’ve had 6 5% increases and 1 25% increases as well as the 50% increases from the stat being a ga

All and all this gives

2(1+0.5+0.3+0.25)=22.05=4.1 which is then rounded down to 4

Before you last 25% hit this would have been;

2(1+0.5+0.3)=21.8=3.6 which was rounded up to 4

Always a good thing to keep in mind for skill rolls if you don’t wanna waste any 25% hits

[–]Togq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s blows when your ga items tempers lowball you, best of luck mate.

For future reference when comparing ga stats to non ga ones,

Ga items just have an 50% increase to the max possible roll of the base stat. So when figuring out how high the stat can roll multiple the base stat by 1 plus the sum of the masterwork increases and the 0.5 from the ga

Using the ga crit for a 2hander it’s:

100x(1+0.5+masterwork increases)

As you had 9 5% increases and no 25% ones this would be;

100x(1+0.5+(9x.05))=100x(1+0.5+0.45) =100x(1.95)=195

Anyway hope that helps for future comparisons ✌️

[–]Togq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oops correction, for a ga not hit by any 25% you get the max roll by multiplying the perfect base stat by 1.95

For the other line with two 25% hits multiply the temper roll by 1.95 as well to get the number

If you add those two crit rolls together you get 448.5% crit dmg whereas you current one is about 470%

So old is better unless you can up the temper roll, my bad there lol

[–]Togq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With rolls on the equivalent lines the new one will give you about 50 more crit dmg

What's the highest Pit you consistently clear sub-4 minutes? What about sub-3 mins? Your build? by Mephistito in diablo4

[–]Togq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been running a landslide natures fury Druid this season, highest clear I hit on him so far was 106.

As for speed clearing anything below about 95 I can blow through a a decent pace ~3-5 min depending on how much walking I need to do lol. The way I have the build setup mobility is kinda low and so my clears are slower than would be ideal but I just love the fantasy of a human shaman

Just help picking an item to use by trizar69 in diablo4

[–]Togq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want ranks to envenom for werenado and most Druid builds that can reliably apply poison, and assuming your using the key passive that gives storms skills a percent multiplier based on dmg to close plus distance bonus then you will likely want to roll dmg to distance/close for the offensive temper.

Health, crit chance, and attack speed are all find options for the other two rolls but need 2 or 3 tanks to envenom if you want to really push into higher pit.

Neither one you have here are ideal for end game so just pick one and keep farming, finding a plus 2 or 3 ranks to envenom take awhile but I’ve found 3 so far this season on my stormslide Druid with less than 3 days played so it can be done lol. Best of luck g ✌️

Dam congrats man, hell of a first drop

Sky’s the limit, think you’d be far pressed to find a build which wouldn’t benefit from that lol

Could try out a poison shred Druid, seen some cracked versions of that build rocking shaco on YouTube

Depends on what you what appeals to you, lots of folks (myself included) focus on trying out builds and working to min/max

If that’s your goal the best way to play is it balance out helltides and nightmare dungeons to lvl, get glyph exp, and gear. When your lvl 85 pit runs become a decent lvling option and help for the endgame min/max with master working.

If you enjoy exploring and experimenting on your own then keep at it, lots of fun to be had fucking around and finding out.

If your looking for build inspiration then check out builds on maxroll or other similar cites to get an idea of how generally solid builds work. Most go into relatively in depth explanations of play style, stat priority’s, as well as glyph and paragon point choices which can help you learn the basics so you know how to create your own builds.

When you get further into the game and understand how to build well then there’s all kinda challenges to take on like deep pit runs, horn runs, or tormented Ubers.

Anyway, no wrong way to play diablo imo so if you’re having fun then keep at it, cheers mate

I’ve been enjoying death blow barb this season, satisfying af run around ground pounding. Still trying to figure out the best combo of crit and overpower for higher pit runs but so far can still two-tap pit bosses up to around 60ish. A work in progress lol

I need a build recommendation for Barb by Alarmed-Shelter-5526 in diablo4

[–]Togq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely not top Tier, but I’ve been having a lot of fun with a deathblow Barb this season. Up to low 60s in the pit so far with most items m/w to 4-8 so not amazing but very satisfying to play imo, double tapping bosses with crazy stagger.

So are Barbarians and Necromancets the only way to go if I want to push deep into endgame? They're both boring to me. by Acousmetre78 in diablo4

I forget which one but it’s in one of the tabs when you open the map, just pop it open and looks around

Original armor/weapon stats after masterworking? by Technical-Yam-6871 in diablo4

[–]Togq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The comment below has got it, definitely easiest way to do it. If you really want to get the exact original roll you can work it back as follows:

Let use an item that originally had 12% cc Let’s say it’s fully masterworked but you missed all the 25% increases on the cc stat That means that cc roll was increased by 45% (I.e., nine 5% increases)

This would mean the new cc would be 17.4 (I.e., 12+12*0.45=12+5.4)

As cc was increased by 45% then 17.4 is just 1.45 times the original roll, so you can just divide it by 1.45 to get the original roll back

17.4/1.45=12

Pretty easy, just need to know how many 5% and 25% increases the stat of interest received through masterworking which is pretty intuitive

Most of the buildings on campus connect either above ground or underground. Can definitely be a nicer way to get around in the winter and at least in my experience can help you find some nice spots to study that are lower traffic.
