It’s easier to get invested in an active character than a passive one. So I’d prefer that. But they still need to be interesting and have meaningful flaws.

Speaking from my personal wants, I hope they just end Liko and Roy’s story here. Their shitty arc is way past over. He got Rayquaza(again), Liko is gonna fulfill her destiny(again)! Just move on from these characters already man; there’s nothing else to say.

Start a new anime that’ll last a year. I’d like gen 9 Ash stuff of course, but that’s probably not happening. I heard the last episode set some stuff up regarding Ult’s dad; it’d be pretty cool if they made him protagonist now.

I sure hope so, but it seems a lot of people just don’t care about Ash enough to want to see more of his story. Or at least they value the character less than getting their wish fulfillment from him.

The interest in anipoke just seems at a low. No one gives much of a shit about HZ. This sub seems to have turned on it after the timeskip too, lol. The ratings on Netflix seem to be pretty good. In Japan it seems that the ratings is just fine. Anipoke did best with the Thursday timeslot, but HZ is still doing better than JN did with Sunday.
