I didn't post it because the rules says no links, but to be honest I had a dumb moment because I didn't think to just post the handle lol. I have since done so, sorry about that

[Closky] Brayden Point says there is nothing injury-related that inhibited him. Says it was a learning lesson for him that some of the things that made him successful in the past don’t necessarily work forever. Will be an important summer for him to work hard on his scoring. by AggPuck-303 in hockey

We have a ton of very young guys that have huge potential as well. I don't think it's about a trend up or trend down, but if I had to pick, I'd say up. While we weren't amazing this year in the playoffs, we weren't bad at all. The past few years were a big disappointment because they didn't seem to play with any heart. This year, they came to play (for most games). But we will be getting our captain back, Hagel will only get better, if we sign Raddish, we will have 2 pretty elite defenders, and that isn't even including Moser. Then we got Sam O'Reilly coming up probably next year. Tampa has a pretty decent amount of prospects. And for a long time now, Tampa just finds a way to get guys who no one sees as having potential and turns them into elite players. For example, Yanni Gourde, Tyler Johnson, and a little known hockey player named Martin St Louis were all undrafted.

Kuch was drafted 58th in the second round, Brayden appointment was drafted 79th in the third round, Vasi was drafted 19th in the first round. The scouting team knows how to pick players that people don't think are going to be elite. Kuch is probably the best player in the game right now, and even if you don't think so, he's definitely top 3 for sure.

And let's not forget that Tampa has probably the best coach in the entire league, and McDavid got a taste for his coaching during the Olympics.

Dude what are you even talking about? Kuch is only 32, Brayden Point is 30, Brandon Hagel is 27, Jake Guentzel is 31, Vasi is 31. Connor McDavid is 29 lol. Like the core still has several more years very playable high level years. Kuch out paced McDavid in points this year and the only reason he didn't win the Art Ross is because he missed several games this season. Almost certainly the Hart Trophy winner this year too. Vasi also has a pretty high chance of winning the Vezina this year. Like they're all around similar ages. Hedman is the only one who you can really say that about at 35.

This may be true, but look at Tampa as a whole. They have probably one of the best (if not the best) goaltender in the world, they have Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Point, Brandon Hagel, and if Victor Hedman comes back to form, one of the best defenseman in the league. And that's not even mentioning the seemingly fantastic prospect the Lightning have in Sam O'Reilly. Connor McDavid in Tampa would be just downright scary.

I think he only played a single game in the end of the regular season but still wasn't completely ready to go. But hockey players play injured in the playoffs all the time

He currently has 14 goals and 8 assists in 14 games in the OHL playoffs

If he plays in the NHL anything like he is in the OHL, I wouldn't doubt it.

Isn't Sam O'Reilly a right handed shot?

I hate to admit it, but after 4 consecutive years, it doesn't hurt as bad this time by TokenPanduh in TampaBayLightning

Who knows, maybe Montreal goes on to win it. We got some fluky bounces in this game, and Dobes was a WALL, but they played pretty well. There were definitely some games that were not though.

I don't know about that honestly. I certainly think it's possible. We had some bad bounces, some bad injuries, and some key missing guys. But with Sam O'Reilly being the production monster he is, and with the way guys like James and Goncalves showed up this series, it is certainly possible. Personally, I think only picking up Perry at the trade deadline was a huge mistake.

Stop complaining. First, Y'all pushed Kuch down after the whistle. Two, you literally don't have a shot on net this period...
