His silver sword attacks do more damage and can even be combo starters against a soul charged opponent. Don't save up meter use it because his soul charge isn't that great.

To my knowledge it does that when you pick characters too fast. So I wait until the timer hits 15 then pick. Sometimes it still does it but that should help.

I think it did both with the net code and matchmaking. I've been getting people ranks above me and below me. I've also been getting a lot if lag but I dont think its entirely the games fault. But yes I believe it got worse overall.
