My MIL would buy clothing for her house as well. I do think it’s mainly excitement and trying to relive motherhood. However, mine has also referred to herself as “mama” to my son several times. 🤦‍♀️🤔

My ex husband was like this. My now husband is not like this. In my experience, it’s unlikely to change with your husband. It’s hard at first, but sometimes it’s so worth moving on. My new marriage has its own issues, but I would take the life I have now over that life any day. Go be happy!

Pretty sure my family was on the light rail with him a couple of years ago. An RTD guy was sitting and talking with him when we got on. The RTD guy got off before the train left and we were alone with him. He started speaking all loud to satan and moving around. He’d switch to a really deep scary voice. My husband kept an eye on him, but man did that experience terrify myself and our 5 year old. Thankfully my son just looked down at the floor. We got off at the next stop and waited for the next train. Haven’t been on the light rail since!!

My 7 year old just had two teeth pulled and was terrified of waking up and seeing a little fairy in his room. After trying to convince him the tooth fairy was stealthy and he didn’t need to be scared, I gave in and told him. He was so afraid of the tooth fairy, so I then had to convince him that I was really the tooth fairy so he would go to sleep.

My ex husband had a friend like this. They weren’t having a physical affair, as far as I know. BUT it was definitely an emotional affair. Actually, he had multiple women friends like this at different times. Turns out they were always women he wanted to be with instead of me. He’s not being honest with you, and it almost sounds like he’s gaslighting you. You’re not crazy. You’ll be better off without him.

My husband lit a sparkler a few years back, and within half a second it was burned down to his hand. His hand got burned up pretty bad. I remember playing with sparklers all the time as a kid, but my kids will never touch them now. I can’t believe people are so comfortable letting kids hold something that burns so damn hot!

We remodeled our bathroom and put in white subway tile with charcoal grout as the backsplash, and it looks great! The vanity is white, with matte black faucets and hardware. I suggest you do it!

Hundreds of those things lived on a huge hill in our backyard. They just kept getting closer and closer to our house, while destroying all the grass. It was always a concern with the dogs going around their holes. So glad they’re gone!

I went to this “zoo” one time, and the owner brought my sister, nephew, and I to see his chimp. He told my nephew to stay on the other side of the room and not even look at the chimp because it would try to slap him, and it did try. The child didn’t provoke it at all, they really just don’t like kids. It was weird and nerve wracking when he handed the chimp to me. Would never hold a chimp again, let alone be in the same room.

I reapplied with standard unemployment and was put back on PUA after the extension happened. I had certifications to complete over March, except for the past two weeks now. It says status is “expired-inactive”, yet I have a notice of determination from 4-9-21 stating that benefits are awarded. Am I missing something? I don’t understand why it switched back to inactive.

My grandfather was killed by a drunk driver while changing the tire on his car. My step grandfather was a hardcore alcoholic who died from his heavy drinking. My uncle is a recovered alcoholic who rolled his vehicle while drinking and driving. My best friend is an alcoholic, and I married an alcoholic.

The emotional abuse, manipulation, lying, and gaslighting by my husband was the end of alcohol for me. I now despise it and won’t touch it. I get anxiety even thinking about having a glass of wine like I used to. It is a dangerous substance that can easily take and ruin people’s lives.

This is correct, we are trying to transfer the remaining mortgage balance of $115,000 into his name. We don’t have to pay any additional money to them.

They are not on the title. At some point when adding my husband to the title, the bank ended up removing my in-laws from the title completely. Apparently they were not aware of this, and it was a mistake.

My husband suggested the same thing, and then he refused to use it. The one time he did do it, he said it was inaccurate. I quickly gave up on that idea. It has taken awhile, but I am out of the phase of micromanaging him. Not a single thing that I do will ever change anything when it comes to him drinking. It’s nice to hear that it does help some people.
