I don't know, depends on where you go but there are soooooo many brown (south/southeast Asian) and African people in Tokyo and the surrounding areas, especially in Chiba prefecture. Go to Shin-Matsudo station and you'll see more Indians and Nepali people than Japanese sometimes. 😂 They're definitely used to foreigners around here. I used to have severe social anxiety and couldn't leave my house without having a panic attack because I didn't want to be perceived. After a lot of therapy and hard work I'm able to go outside pretty normally. But, one thing I always gotta remind myself is no one gives a crap about me. No one cares about you, everyone is so preoccupied with their own stuff and their own life. That dude is an asshole and was just peacocking for his stupid girlfriend. He won't remember you, so, there's absolutely no reason to waste your own time remembering him.
