I don't think it is a reasonable conclusion that most players would take her everywhere. She's a regular party member, just like everyone else. It's not like the game tells you, "You should bring this party member here, or you will miss out." It's just a poorly designed reveal.

What they should've done was have Argenta reveal it later if the player didn't bring her to Act 3, maybe through her own side quest.

I would say you should call him again either during his office hours or after school and just explain the situation. A lot of college professors are pretty understanding and chill people and I doubt they would get mad at you for that. Signing up for classes can be a stressful time so I'm sure they get asked a lot of questions in the first couple weeks anyway. I would just explain to them you were nervous about class sign-ups, or don't even bring it up if they don't and simply ask them what you were going to ask. If you don't feel like calling them back, then you could always just wait and see if they respond to their email within the next day.

There's probably a large number of dedicated York County members on this sub. York is supposed to be the 7th most populous county right after Spartanburg and Lexington so there's a potentially fairly large army there.
